 A Stick & A Box; Brian Melick & Studio Stu, perform the basic form of jazz interpretation, drum and bass/voice duo, a sort of, ‘Duja Vey’ (the feeling that none of this ever happened before).
This eccentric jazz duo takes the very best in classic jazz and pop, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘evocative jazz, exotic lounge’. In this ‘duo virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. The is one in-tune, out-of-tune, offbeat outfit.

Also, as a podcast host and author of her kids’ book, Jake The Road Dawg, Tia has helped raise funds and awareness for The Dolly Parton Imagination Library and various animal rescue non-profit organizations.
