The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past nine years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

The public is invited to the Annual Christmas Concert and Tea at The Smithfield Church in the Smithfield Valley of Amenia, NY at 3 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024. This year's program features the Smithfield Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Matt Finley. Music ranges from classical, pop, jazz, and holiday favorites.

During his tenure as lead singer and primary songwriter for Toad the Wet Sprocket, Glen Phillips crafted the band’s distinctive folk/pop sound, resonating with fans through honest, introspective lyrics.
Following Toad’s hiatus, Glen Phillips embarked on a prolific singer-songwriter career highlighted by his new album, Abulum. He also collaborated on diverse projects such as Mutual Admiration Society with members of Nickel Creek and Remote Tree Children alongside John Morgan Askew. “When my friend John [Morgan Askew] invited me to come up to his studio and make music, I said, ‘Yes’, as I collected a bunch of the new songs and headed up to Bocce Studios, in Vancouver, WA. We are a community oriented, web-based music show of like-minded individuals. Join us as we band together to celebrate the craft of visual music performance. We strive to create a warm, inviting space where talented creators can come together to amplify the story behind the artists. Founded in 2008, Earth Hound is an alternative rock/post-punk/Shoegaze band based in New York comprised of Charles Tristan Cullen on guitar and lead vocals, Tyler Jewett on drums, and Kevin Coll on Bass. The trio recorded Caving In EP and a live album Live From the Trash Bar before their lead vocalist moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2012 where he formed the band The Horror Club. Chuck Elliott, WXPN's Sleepy Hollow Philly-based Tracy Colletto has garnered comparisons to Alanis Morissette and Joni Mitchell for her songwriting and vocal style. For the most part, she likes to write about personal perseverance and journeys to far-away places. Her performance vibe is friendly and optimistic.
