Celebrating their 3rd CD release: Wing Factory:
with INNERrOUTe
Jazz
Tuscan Cafe
5 1/2 South St
Warwick, NY   See Map
INNERrOUTe CD Release performance heralding their 3rd CD “Wing Factory"

INNERrOUTe WAS BORN in drummer Michael D'Agostino's West Milford NJ studio. They were all amazed at the results and agreed that the music we created/heard/experienced together was uniquely alive, freeing and healing. The band got on so well that they agreed to make a trial recording in Michael's studio, and here they are 3 CDs later..

THEIR CREATIVE PROCESS begins differently every time, with one of them starting to play whatever pops into his ears. Then the reaction to those first ideas begins & where it goes no one knows. They can emerge from dark valleys into beautiful light rain & rays of musical sunshine, laughing all the way....emerging in a healthier state, greatly moved by the spirit which has just passed through them.

Come enjoy this sophisticated, mature duo of superb musicians who exude old school bohemianism, playing a mixture of jazz, swing, folk, blues and old-timey music with a contemporary style. Says James O'Brien of the Listening Room: "Samoa Wilson, lithe, modern and powerfully gifted in voice, brings a cutting-edge vision to the ensemble. There is conversely, something about her presentation that defies the moment. The effect of the Jim Kweskin Band is one of unhitching from the year and date, a wander through the material that seems slightly psychedelic."

Vito Petroccitto is magic. And we’re not just talking about the way he deftly casts alternating spells on his audiences, moving them either to awe, tears, full-out belly laughs, or all three at once. Armed only with his gritty, dirty, swampy telecaster guitar, his crazy-good vocal chords, and more than a touch of genius, Vito has somehow figured out how to do the work of ten men. If he’s not performing all over the Hudson Valley with “Four Guys in Disguise” (the band he co-founded in 1989, voted “Best of the Hudson Valley” for years running), he’s out gigging with his newest brainchild, “Left by the Wayside:” a swampy blues and funk band. Think Little Feat meets John Fogerty meets the Grateful Dead.

Classically trained at Cuba’s premier conservatories, the members of three-time Grammy-nominated Tiempo Libre are true modern heirs to the rich musical tradition of their native Cuba. The Miami-based group is celebrated for its performances of timba music, an irresistible, dance-inducing mix of Latin jazz and Cuban son. They are equally at home in concert halls, jazz clubs, festival stages, and dance venues, playing sophisticated tropical music — an exhilarating mix of jazz harmonies, contemporary sonorities, and seductive Latin rhythms. One of the hottest Latin bands on the scene today! “World Class Act…” London Evening Standard PepsiCo Theatre Single tickets: $45/ $35 / $25

When Ana Egge got bit by the music bug as a teenager, she took matters into her own hands, building her own guitar, and moving to Austin, TX to observe, absorb, and take musical risks. The striking depth and unusual maturity of her singing, playing, and songwriting got her noticed, and she recorded her first album, River Under the Road (1997), with the legendary western swing band, Asleep At The Wheel. The Austin Music Awards named her “Best Singer/Songwriter” and “Best Folk Artist.” Most recently, Egge released her tenth album, White Tiger (2018). Now based in Brooklyn, she still plays that guitar she made herself all those years ago, and is still possessed by a self-determined sense of who she is and what she wants to do. Alec Spiegelman will accompany her with backing vocals and on keyboards and bass clarinet.
