 Nir Naaman is a multi-award-winning saxophonist and composer, who will be joined by Jordan Piper (piano),
Bryan Copeland (bass), and Chuck Zeuren (drums).
The quartet will play original music and a fresh take on jazz standards
Nir has appeared in jazz festivals, clubs, TV shows and recording sessions. Performed professionally with artists such as George Cables, Eddie Marshall, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Paquito D'Rivera, Oscar Stagnaro, Steve Gadd, Abraham Laborial and John Riley. Toured in the United States, Europe, Israel and Japan. Nir resides in Brooklyn. He is involved in many musical projects and leads his own jazz quartet. His debut CD, Independence (2014), produced by George Cables, was hailed by Jazziz magazine as a "Rare Gem".

WXAX Radio presents: Lady Evil - Tribute to Dio, Ozzy Osbourne & Black Sabbath with Sanctuary - Iron Maiden Tribute. This event will be a "FULL STAGE SHOW" featuring simulated flames, bats, werewolves, Lady Evil battling a 12 foot dragon & a colossal 14 foot Eddie, the Iron Maiden mascot for the Sanctuary show. Nothing like this has ever been done before in Middletown, and this type of stage show was only possible at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie, and both bands will be performing over 90 minute sets of music.  New Jersey Americana artist Dave Murphy’s new album, A Heart So Rare (out Jan. 31), is a fearless, heartfelt reflection on human fallibility, love lost, transition, and acceptance. It relays, in honest detail, the mistakes and longing of a man encountering the weight of divorce, all the while embracing moments of surrender, forgiveness, and mystery. There’s always hope for redemption, and this record beautifully catalogs his journey towards it.
Murphy is a cancer survivor, and an accomplished performer who’s toured in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and the UK. He’s shared stages with Steve Forbert, Suzanne Vega, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Mike Doughty of Soul Coughing, Alejandro Escovedo, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and his Chasing Ghosts album featured Nicole Atkins and Forbert. He received consistent airplay for his last four albums on AAA, Americana, and folk radio stations across North America and Europe. |

 Joan Osborne is an 8-time GRAMMY-nominee and multi-platinum selling recording artist. A native of Kentucky, she moved to NYC to attend NYU Film School, but dropped out after becoming involved in New York’s downtown music scene.
