The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past nine years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

Music performed at this session is a mixture of: jazz standards, jazz repertoire, american songbook, bossa nova, and afro cuban. Sorry, we do not host original material at this session.

Field + Supply is a modern interpretation of a traditional arts and crafts fair, & will be held at the Hutton Brickyards on May 26-28 in Kingston, NY. Hutton Brickyards is a symbol of New York’s industrial prowess as the area’s leading brickmaker for over 100 years.
The Saints of Swing features Joe Vincent Tranchina-piano; David Winograd-upright bass/tuba; Dale DeMarco-saxes/clarinet/flute/vocals; Barry Bryson, trumpet/vocals; Ken Foy-trombone/vocals; Larry Balestra-drums; and the phenomenal vocalist MISS RENE BAILEY. We will open the weekend with a set from 10am to noon on Friday, October 11, AND THEN STROLL THE GROUNDS WITH OUR DIXIELAND ACOUSTIC BAND FROM NOON TO 1Pm
