Sunday 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm | Jess Kramer performs Live Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter | BeanRunner Cafe 201 S. Division Street @ Esther Peekskill, NY See Map |
Jesse Kramer's story is as authentic as it is unpredictable. It's a story of struggle, adversity, and rebirth; a story still in its preface as the young 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Indianapolis - now residing in Nashville - seeks to kickstart the official rebirth of rock n' roll for the modern world.
Jesse always knew that music and singing were his only genuine means of communicating his personal thoughts and feelings on life. He began writing and recording his own music at the age of 14. At the age of 17, his strictly religious household gave him an ultimatum: give up music or be kicked out. He chose the latter. Since then, Jesse was personally invited by the Executive Producers to participate in 'The Four: Battle for Stardom', has produced and released his first 5-song EP, "Breakthrough", and was invited to audition for NBC's 'America’s Got Talent'. Jesse is now touring the country, thrilling audiences with his stellar guitar playing and wonderfully emotive vocals. Admission is $10 at the door. Reserve seating here

The iconic Leonard Bernstein’s early, rarely-heard Piano Trio is an artistic coming-of-age of an extravagantly-gifted teenager in the 1930s. And the prodigious Gabriela Lena Frank’s Hilos (Threads) recalls and reimagines the cultures and customs of her Peruvian ancestry. Join us for an exciting and vibrant afternoon. Ticket holders are invited to a post-performance ‘OFFBEAT/ONSTAGE’ talk with the artists. Tickets and more information

![]() Sunday 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm | Music While You Dine with Kurt Henry & Cheryl Lambert Multi-genre original, Acoustic. kurtstuff | Towne Crier Cafe 379 Main Street Beacon, NY See Map |
Kurt and Cheryl (Kurt Henry and Cheryl Lambert: members of Dog Knows) are one of the most compelling eclectic acoustic—and sometimes electric—duets to ride the musical range since Ian and Sylvia took the folk world by storm in the ‘60s, and, like Ian and Sylvia, their repertoire is wide-ranging, and perhaps more so when one considers the range of Kurt’s guitar styles (acoustic/electric) and Cheryl’s tasty harmonica accompaniments. Like Ian and Sylvia, they also project an uptown vibe that never conflicts with the rural elements in their music. And so, they move from Bossa Nova, to R&B, right into bluegrass, Brit/American balladry and genre-bending originals that reflect the respect they show for today’s wider ranging, more educated musical audiences. www.kurthenry.com
Sunday 7:00 pm | Sunday Evening Jazz with Orrin Evans Trio | The FALCON 1348 Route 9W Marlboro, NY See Map |
Presented by: Absolutely Live Entertainment. Curated by Danny Melnick
Orrin Evans' 2021 album, The Magic of Now (Smoke Sessions)...."the egoless bandleader spotlights Immanuel Wilkins, Vicente Archer and Bill Stewart....the interplay between the four is so incandescent that it’s hard not to marvel at the magic of being in the moment." Levels · Orrin Evans | The Magic of Now: https://youtu.be/xUW6N4YKTCE https://youtu.be/sUaEj-HQxlI https://orrinevansmusic.com/ For more than two decades, Orrin Evans has made an art form of the unexpected. With more than 25 albums to his credit, Evans has become the model of a fiercely independent artist who’s made a habit of rattling the jazz world’s confining cages. That determination has paid off in accolades like topping the “Rising Star Pianist” category in the 2018 DownBeat Critics Poll. As a daring pianist, Evans combines raw-edged vigor and left-field nuance into a sound wholly his own. As an adventurous composer he traverses stylistic boundaries with abandon, drawing on full-throttle swing, deep rooted blues, expressive soul or bracing excursions into the avant-garde. As an audacious bandleader, he delights in daring fellow musicians to take bold risks, whether in mutable small group settings or his raucous Captain Black Big Band. As an inventive collaborator, his projects range from the nerve-rattling collective trio Tarbaby to the latest twist in his never predictable story, becoming the first new member to join The Bad Plus in the band’s nearly 20-year history. Evans’ variety of collaborations is a who’s-who of modern jazz including Nicholas Payton, Sean Jones, Oliver Lake, JD Allen, Christian McBride, Eric Revis, Buster Williams, Karriem Riggins, Bill Stewart, Nasheet Waits, Kevin Eubanks and Kurt Rosenwinkel, among countless others. In 2018 Evans relaunched his Imani Records label with a newfound focus on projects by young, innovative musicians, beginning with albums by saxophonist Caleb Wheeler Curtis and bassist Jonathan Michel. He’s also produced recordings by JD Walter, Denise King, Joanna Pascale, Sharel Cassity, and Eric Revis. Evans pays homage to his mentors and influences while passing the torch to new generations. He’s recently paid homage to the late Geri Allen alongside drummer Terri Lyne Carrington and a celebration of the centennial of Thelonious Monk at Duke University, along with curating concert series at Philly’s South and New York’s Smoke.

When violinist Louis Kaufman offered him a commission, Still produced his glowing Suite for Violin and piano that reflected that illustrious performer’s passion for the visual arts, and interest in a composition melding popular, blues, and jazzy elements with classical forms and techniques.

Friday 7:00 pm | Split Bill w/Lost Leaders with Jim Keller | The FALCON 1348 Route 9W Marlboro, NY See Map |
"It’s the phrasing that hooks you, sly and all knowing but still waiting to be told that one secret that might make it all worth it, that might make sense of this whole crazy mess".– Brian Cullman
Don't Get Me Started https://youtu.be/X18PDw64fYQ https://www.jimkellermusic.com/ What would you get if John Lee Hooker quarantined with Kraftwerk? Jim Keller’s mix of industrial blues and industrial menace, ”Don’t Get Me Started,” could turn out to be the definitive song for the pandemic. Keller first got attention years ago when, as part of San Francisco group Tommy Tutone, he co-wrote and performed “867-5309” (“Jenny Jenny”), a classic power pop tune that made 80’s radio so listenable. Keller returned to recording and performing and with a voice now aged by time, whiskey and promises, he’s got the sound of someone who could have been Tom Petty’s therapist. He’s made three solo albums to date Sunshine In My Pocket (2005), Soul Candy (2011) and Heaven Can Wait (2014). A cult figure in the music business, Keller’s gigs at New York’s Lakeside Lounge and The Rockwood Music Hall are legendary. If the best players in town weren’t on stage with him, they were in the audience, singing along, playing along, making the sort of noise that would get you locked up in a lesser town. Written with longtime collaborator Byron Isaacs (The Lumineers, Levon Helm) and produced by Mitchell Froom (Los Lobos, Crowded House, Randy Newman) “Don’t Get Me Started” is what so many of us are feeling right now, whether we’re stuck at home or on the front lines.

Friday 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm | Remembering Selena- ft. Genessa & The Selena Experience Latin | Paramount Hudson Valley Theater 1008 Brown St Peekskill, NY See Map |
| Upon the 20th anniversary of Selena’s passing, the formation of this incredible class of musicians came to be. Right out of New York, a locale known among musicians as the “mecca” for professional cover bands, “Genessa & The Selena Experience” was created! Their musical history spans decades and genres but with lead vocalist, Genessa Escobar, she has taken her childhood dreams and memories of Selena and made them come alive on-stage. Recently “Genessa & The Selena Experience” has appeared on National Television for TELEMUNDO “Un Nuevo Dia,” local television networks such as; TELEMUNDO NY “Acesso Total,” and News 12. They were featured as the COVER STORY for New York newspaper “NEWSDAY”, with a 2 page spread, as well as “TIME OUT NEW YORK MAGAZINE.” Twenty five years have now passed and her music is, not only still alive, but it has been handed down to another generation. Friday 8:00 pm | Split Bill w/Jim Keller with Lost Leaders ~ New Release "Long Way Down" | The FALCON 1348 Route 9W Marlboro, NY See Map |
FEATURING ~
Peter Cole ~ Guitar/Vocals Byron Isaacs ~ Bass/Vocals Will Bryant ~ Keys/Vocals Lee Falco ~ Drums www.LostLeaders.net Gienevieve: https://youtu.be/gLOlweoDdm0 "Promises Promises, Lost Leaders' 2019 recording, has been described as... a bit on the oblique side, somewhat contemplative and wholly catchy. Isaacs and Cole, supported by keyboardist/mandolinist Will Bryant and drummer Lee Falco, are proudly pop but their jazz backgrounds poke through when they break away and just have a little fun with it." - Relix "...when an album [Heavy Lifting] like this comes along, I want to shout it to the world ... I want to get stuck in traffic, roll down the windows and crank it up. I want to throw listening parties and pay taverns I frequent to play it....because when the music overwhelms, that is always what I want to do and this is overwhelming. I love this album. I love it." – No Depression Lost Leaders' partnership grew from a collaboration that has lasted through years of weirdness and magic - through Byron’s time with the Levon Helm Band, with Helm’s daughter, Amy, in the bands Ollabelle and Amy Helm & the Handsome Strangers and their time on Columbia Records touring with Ryan Adams, Diana Krall and others. It lasted through Peter Cole's time in Lava Baby and a strange NYC power-pop journey. Isaacs has strong ties to the Hudson Valley as a member of the Woodstock-based Levon Helm Band and now performs with The Lumineers.
