Improvisational trio, Supercluster, features Keyboardist Neil “Nail” Alexander, bassist Robert Kopec and drummer Dean Sharp. These three multifaceted, master improvisers have worked together, on and off, for nearly 20 years - most recently as a “back-up” band for saxophonist Eric Person, performing the music of Ronald Shannon Jackson.
http://nailmusic.com/ Keyboardist/composer, NEIL ALEXANDER, remains passionately involved in production, live sound, musical theater, modern dance and film. He recently released his first solo piano CD “Darn That Dream: Solo Piano Vol. 1” to critical acclaim. He has worked with variety of artists such as Gunther Hampel, Tal Ross (P-Funk), Erik Lawrence, and The Adaptors Movement Theater, held the keyboard chair in Gregg Bendian’s “Mahavishnu Project”, and in the successful Pink Floyd Tribute “The Machine“, where he was a driving force in the group’s sound and subsequent success. Neil completed a two-year solo piano tour performing his transcription of Stravinsky’s “Rite Of Spring” for its 100th anniversary. Bassist, ROBERT KOPEC has been instrumental in assembling the finest regional jazz improvisers, performing in venues across the Hudson Valley, and known as "Big Bang!". DEAN SHARP has played and/or recorded with a strikingly diverse array of creative artists including Moby, Brad Mehldau, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elliott Sharp, Michael Bisio, among many others. Too tough for folk and too blues influenced for country, LYNNE HANSON's brand of "porch music with a little red dirt" can turn on a dime from a sunshine, blue sky ballad to a full-on thunderstorm of gritty Americana swamp from one song to the next. An award-winning songwriter, Lynne is known for her high-energy, roots guitar driven live performances. Lynne has performed in venues and festivals across North America and Europe. She's supported tours in the UK with Gretchen Peters, Steve Forbert, as well as Albert Lee. Lynne is currently working on her 8th album, which is slated for release in early 2022 | ||
