Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | T Buckley Singer-Songwriter, Americana | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online and on the radio, NY See Map |
On this episode of the Hootenanny Cafe Radio Show, the mini-concert is provided by award-winning songwriter T. Buckley, ahead of the release of Buckley's second solo album, Frame By Frame. Buckley looks through the lens of life on these new songs, which were originally written ahead of a second recording session with Grammy winning producer Howard Bilerman. But with no travel possible in 2020, these songs about family were brought back to the musical family Buckley has built around him. In hindsight, it was meant to be.
Buckley's music career started as a leader of a trio, before making his way as a solo artist, writing songs with John Wort Hannam and Nashville songwriter Don Henry. With influences running from traditional folk to rock to Laurel Canyon to the '60s New York Cafe scene, he tells the story in detail and embeds his songs with a message. This dedication to craft continues to make Buckley's name known and recognized through award nominations and wins. | ||
