Anupam Shobhakar is an Indian musician, composer, instrumentalist, and classically trained sarodist currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Shobhakar’s track “Water” made it the first round of the Grammy Awards.

JLH are not new to the game. The five members have decades of experience playing, recording, and touring both nationally and internationally. This a band of five women from New York City infuse the grit and attitude of their hometown into the blues.
With double lead guitars, a heavy rhythm section, and soul-scouring vocals, JLH honors the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Johnny Winter, Big Mama Thornton, and other blues greats. Nominated for The Deli’s Best of 2014 Poll for Emerging NYC Artists, JLH is a blistering blues monster capable of whispering in your ear before stomping on your heart.
JLH’s debut, No B!, was released in November 2014 - since, they’ve shared bills with Death Valley Girls, Supersuckers, The Ike Reilly Assassination, Frightwig, Whiskey Shivers, Steepwater Band, The Wailers, Bernard Fowler, and the Bluebonnets (feat. Kathy Valentine, ex Go-Go’s), among others.
So how’d this gang of pros find each other? Guitarists Hightop and Tina honed their love of blazing dual leads in Helldorado in the ’90s. From there, Hightop joined Nashville Pussy, Tina joined Bad Wizard, and both toured the world. But they missed the rush of trading guitar solos with one another, leaving audiences howling with joy.
They recruited Mary, who played bass with Hightop in the punk band the Wives. Drummer, Cool Whip got the nod before she even finished slamming out the first song of her audition. And no singer in the entire city can bring a crowd to its knees harder or faster than Dana Danger Athens. |

Wyld Blu won the NY state Blues Challenge in Albany NY in 2019 and played at the IBC blues festival in Memphis in January 2020.

Rock Academy of Woodstock's Showband kicks off their 2021 Summer Tour with a special lunchtime show at the Falcon! Playing an eclectic mix of tunes from the 60s straight through the 10s for your listening, dancing and sing-a-long pleasure. Come for lunch, stay for the show!
A performance based, interactive music school, the Rock Academy is run by Jason Bowman - bringing more than 30 years experience as a professional musician and teacher to the table. Every member of the staff is a working, professional, musician, dedicated to keeping the spirit of Woodstock alive. Their belief in the best way to teach, is through a hands-on approach. The Rock Academy is dedicated to getting kids to play music in the most authentic way, as is possible.
The Rock Academy is a year-round tuition-based program. Weekly 45 minute lessons in each student's primary instrument and attendance at weekly rehearsals (in season; 30 weeks per year) are in preparation for our seasonal shows.
Shows are chosen for their artistic and pedagogical merit and a variety is always offered to serve the skill levels and educational needs of our student body. At capacity, Rock Academy stages 5 productions during the the Spring, Fall and Summer semesters. Rehearsals for these shows occur on both week days and weekends to accommodate student schedules. |

 Peekskill native, NYFA (New York Foundation For The Arts) grant recipient Fred Gillen Jr has released nine full-length albums, to great critical acclaim, and has toured all over the U.S. and Europe. His songs have been featured on ABC's "All My Children," NPR's "Car Talk," CMJ's New Music Marathon Sampler, and in 2012 his version of Woody Guthrie's "I Ain't Got No Home" was featured on "Pete Remembers Woody," a collection of Pete Seeger's spoken stories about Woody Guthrie. Like Guthrie, his songs often reflect the struggles of the marginalized and forgotten, shining a light on both the despair and hope in the human condition. His live performances are spontaneous celebrations of all that it is to be human, he encourages participation, and he works hard to eliminate the "fourth wall" between performer and audience.

Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Leslie Mendelson is supporting her most recent studio album ‘If You Can’t Say Anything Nice…,’ as well as a solo acoustic EP ‘In The Meantime,’ recorded during the 2020 lockdown. Described by Relix Magazine as an artist with “a loyal, cross-generational audience that hugs the hippie, hipster, coffee shop and society crowds,” Leslie’s timeless musicality and evocative songwriting indeed cuts a wide swath. All Music writes that Leslie evokes “1970s songwriter influences in the vein of Carole King and Carly Simon,” while The Aquarian calls her “the closest thing one can get to a truly honest musical experience.”
Leslie Mendelson’s previous work, including 2009 Grammy-nominated debut album ‘Swan Feathers’ and 2017 album, ‘Love & Murder’ dealt with matters of the heart. When it came time to compose the songs that comprise ‘If You Can’t Say Anything Nice…,’ however, she and her longtime writing partner Steve McEwan set out to examine the anxiety stemming from the current socio-political climate with songs like “Medication,” “I Need Something To Care About” and “Would You Give Up Your Gun.” It’s fitting extension of a more socially conscious outlook offered on “A Human Touch”—Leslie’s duet with Jackson Browne for the documentary film, ‘5B,’ released in 2019.
If Leslie Mendelson’s only collaboration with a legendary musician was Jackson Browne, it would be a worthy point to celebrate. What’s truly telling is that Leslie has also drawn the attention of The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir who recorded a duet with her on Roy Orbison’s standard, “Blue Bayou,” while no less than classic rock royalty The Who invited her to open two shows at Madison Square Garden last year. She was set to open three more dates for the band in 2020 that were unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. With some of rock music’s most legitimate voices seeking Leslie out, it leaves no doubt the rarefied air she inhabits as an artist. |

 The Rhythm Method is a wild ride through the interpretation of jazz music, a sort of, ‘Duja Vey’ (the feeling that none of this ever happened before).
This eccentric jazz duo takes the very best in classic jazz and originals, and twists and bends them into what they call ‘jazz unstandards’. In this ‘duo virtuosi’, nothing is sacred.....improv is rampant...lyrics are changed at will...notes and chords are bent and perverted...familiar languages are obliterated....harmonies are sweet and sour perfection, and yet, serious, sophisticated and uncompromising in execution. The is one in-tune, out-of-tune, offbeat outfit.

Bob Dylan's longest-running sideman - has sometimes been characterized as his "musical director" as well. In addition to his work with Dylan, Garnier has recorded with Tom Waits, Loudon Wainwright III, Paul Simon, Asleep at the Wheel, and The Lounge Lizards. He also played with Robert Gordon in the early 1980s. He was also a long-time sideman for David Johansen in his Buster Poindexter persona, and was also briefly a member of the [SNL] Saturday Night Live house band.

Hollis Brown Gets Loaded took on a life of its own, with airplay on influential radio stations, resulting in a full CD and digital release.
Hollis Brown’s third album 3 Shots (2015), featured the Bo Diddley collaboration “Rain Dance,” and the duet “Highway 1” with acclaimed alt-country songstress Nikki Lane. “Run Right To You” (2016) was released on Velvet Elk/One Little Indian records. Their song “Steady Ground” is a featured exclusive on Amazon Acoustics playlist, and their vinyl EP, Cluster of Pearls was chosen as one of the 300 select releases throughout the world for Record Store Day 2016.
The band has toured extensively in the US and Europe, headlining and supporting The Counting Crows, Citizen Cope, The Zombies, Jackie Greene, Heartless Bastards, Rich Robinson of Black Crowes, and Jesse Malin, and building an impressive fan base on both continents.
