Dar Williams has always followed her muse. When she was up in Somerville, Massachusetts in the early nineties, knowing that she wanted to pursue music or theater, she worked backstage at the Opera Company of Boston and wrote plays on the side. But she was in Boston, and the muse led her into the myriad open mics and tip jar gigs of booming folk revival. She opened a trunk of old songs and started writing new ones. She hoped the songs she was writing, with titles like When I Was a Boy, You’re Aging Well, and The Great Unknown, would lead her into an idiosyncratic part-time music career.

Doors open at 12:30pm, with shows starting at 2pm. Extensive precautions, including proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test will be required for entry at all shows. Guests can enjoy delicious wine and locally sourced dining options during the show. Visit our website for more information.

"California-based troubadour Tom Freund sings of skate-boarding kids, impending doom and Happy Days lunch boxes....” - NPR WEEKEND EDITION

"Tom Freund is indeed one of the great singer-songwriters. He constructs a unique world, defines it, and then burns it to the ground. Truly unique and absolutely brilliant." –All Music Guide

Tom Freund
https://tomfreund.com/.
..
Freund’s intimate, heartfelt new solo album, East of Lincoln, chronicles a personal journey along the path from self doubt to enlightenment. Freund takes his time and lets these new songs simmer, and that—along with memorable guest spots from longtime friend and collaborator Ben Harper and an all-star cast of session players—is a big part of the record’s charm. The record is a potent reminder that life is measured not just by our successes, but by how we choose to grow from our failures.

Tom's songs have been featured on television series such as Better Things, Parenthood and One Tree Hill. For his latest - Amazon Prime Studio's animated series Pete The Cat - Freund co-wrote, sang and played songs with Elvis Costello, KT Tunstall, Dave Matthews and Diana Krall, and co-wrote the show’s theme song with creator Swampy Marsh (Phineas and Ferb). Costello takes lead vocals on each episode’s opening theme with Freund handling backing vocals and most instruments.

The Restless Age is a collaboration - a harmony of Will Bryant, Lee Falco and Brandon Morrison. Each player brings a unique song and voice to the bandstand, as the trio spans generations and genres.

The members of The Restless Age have been a premier rhythm section throughout New York’s Hudson Valley for the past half-decade. As the house band for Amy Helm's 'Oh to be Home Again' at Levon Helm Studios, they performed behind Donald Fagen, John Sebastian and Graham Nash, as well as being Kate Pierson's (The B-52's) touring band in support of her 2015 debut album 'Guitars & Microphones’. During that same year they toured the U.S. & Canada supporting the The Waterboys and The Gipsy Kings along with fellow Hudson Valley singer-songwriter Connor Kennedy.

Lee, Brandon and Will rose to national attention backing Donald Fagen of Steely Dan, as "The Nightflyers" on his 2017 national tour.

www.KJDenhert.com

KJ defines herself as an “urban folk and jazz” artist, often stepping outside of that box to explore other influences. Her fine songwriting stands out in front at every performance, along with her smoky rich alto and stellar guitar playing. KJ has performed in Italy, Egypt, St. Barth, Nepal, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland and Alaska, and held a residency in NYC's The 55 Bar.

Multiple award-winner, Denhert, is powerful in voice, with lyrics full of intelligent insight, and her musicianship is impeccable. Her eclectic yet unified performances reach out to audiences without compromising her music and beliefs. She performs the unusual feat of being both highly individual and quite accessible.

KJ's release, "Destiny" (2014) comprises an enormous variety of musical and performance styles, tied together by her singular personality and straight forward lyrics brimming with honesty. Denhert has received three nominations by the 14th Annual Independent Music Awards (IMAs). Her song “Sorry” is in the “Best Blues Song” category, and “Beautiful” in the category of “Jazz with Vocals.” The album DESTINY was nominated in the category, BEST ADULT CONTEMPORARY ALBUM.

The Warp/The Weft will perform live for the first time since the pandemic.

The Warp/The Weft, active since 2012 in and beyond New York's Hudson River Valley, has earned praise for its uniqueness and song-crafting from casual and devoted listeners alike. Blending traditional and avant-garde styles, the warmth of a good wool sweater and the sometimes-bleak cold of an upstate winter, the progressive folk and psychedelia that the band brings to bear is propelled by poetic lyrics and a "spirit-conjuring" lilting tenor that prompted psych-folk legend Tom Rapp (of Pearls Before Swine) to ask, "Can I have your voice when you're through with it?"
