Hailing from the Southwest, Folk singer James Lee Baker recently released 100 Summers, an album that made its way up the Folk and NACC charts last fall with a #1 title track single. Recorded at Blue Rock Studios in Wimberly, Texas under the guide of Chris Bell, this album consists of mostly one-take recordings from stellar industry session players like Roscoe Beck (Leonard Cohen, Eric Johnson), Doug Pettibone (Jewel, John Mayer), and Matt Hubbard (Willy Nelson, Billy Bob Thornton). 100 Summers digs into the personal transformations that come from life's inevitable but expected changes. | ||

The Magdalens Unplugged is an alt-folk-rock band comprised of Renée DaVink (lead singer and songwriter), Britany Orlebeke (violin), and John Caplis (guitar). About the Performers: E’lissa Jones is a head-turning Hudson Valley-based vocalist, prolific songwriter, violinist, pianist, and guitarist. Open Book's original music features melody invention and vocal harmonies backed by a tapestry of interweaving guitars. Kurt Henry is an accomplished, tone-conscious, low-volume/high-energy electric guitarist and a singer/songwriter with a knack for smart lyrics that splash on impact and circle out. Terri & Steve Massardo founded the famous John St. Jam; they're lovely Acoustic guitarist/vocalist Marji Zintz is a gifted, soulful performer of a hybrid of contemporary folk, rock and jazz using a 'sublime,' 'angelic' and 'beautiful voice' to draw the listener in.
