Monday 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm | Ambient Guitars Live-Stream with Guitars A Go Go Electronic, Instrumental | Green Kill 229 Green Kill Avenue Kingston, NY See Map |
Live-streaming performance from Kingston's Green Kill with Guitars A Go Go.
Guitars A Go Go is an edge-pushing improvisational partnership of two acclaimed and very “switched-on” Hudson Valley-based guitarists, Rick Warren and Sal Cataldi (aka Spaghetti Eastern Music). Armed with a plethora of effects pedals and a quest for meditative and melodic adventures that span a galaxy of musical influences and attitudes, the duo have been performing at leading Hudson Valley music venues and art galleries since early 2019.With “Travel Advisory,” their debut album released in June 2020, Guitars A Go Go swing for the fences, with nine tracks reflecting their left-leaning influences. The duo conjures everything from the contemplative soundscapes of Fripp and Eno and wandering proto-electronica of Krautrockers like Tangerine Dream. Green Kill | ||

The band is lead by frontman Brandon Depaul, the founder of the former DMB Tribute: Tripping Billies. David will be joined by some Grateful friends - Stay tuned for details It’s not easy being a multi-hyphenate. But singer-songwriter-guitarist-radio producer/ host-author-journalist-record producer-photographer DAVID GANS at least makes it look like loads of fun. That he can juggle so many balls in the air is nothing short of astonishing; that he does it with such skill, passion, assurance, wit and grace is even more remarkable. David is also known far and wide as the light behind the widely syndicated Grateful Dead Hour radio program, and co-host of SIRIUS XM’s Tales From the Golden Road, several books on the Dead and a number of intriguing CDs relating to the band and its music, David has in recent years blossomed into a compelling performer in his own right, touring nationally and releasing several albums.
