This telethon is to raise funds to save the music venue Chrome in Waterford NY. A premier Upstate music venue that has received NO assistance from the State of New York or the Federal Government. Chrome had to be put on the market and this is the last chance to save it. Please tune in Nov 1st Noon to 8pm. Live performances, testimonials, raffles, and a bunch of other HUGE surprises. La Voz presents: A documentary about Puerto Rico's history of population control through sterilization and experimentation with birth control on Puerto Rican women. This film is in Spanish with English subtitles.
Followed by a discussion with Iris López, Director of Latin American & Latin@ Studies at CUNY and expert on the subject. Show up in person or online!
