1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
From Poughkeepsie, NY's neighborhood bars and coffee shops to NYC’s oldest Rock & Roll club, Denis Fab has emerged on the NY music scene, with a strong fan base that began in his hometown. Inspired by the music of the 1960’s British Invasion, as well as the modern sounds of today, Denis Fab continues to define his sound.

www.denisfab.com

www.soundcloud.com/denisfab

Whether it's the catchy melodies and good time feel of “Clap Your Hands”, or the bittersweet vibe of “Mr. McCullough”, Fab’s music portrays the feeling of the ups and downs of day to day lives. In the emotional “For Thomas”, written for his late Grandfather, he describes the hardships a young man had to overcome during World War II, and returning home.

With the upcoming 2020 release of his debut album “Calendar Days,” Denis Fab continues to write and perform the songs that define who he is, and that will relate to people of all ages.

The Howland Chamber Music Circle concludes its 2020 Piano Festival with the electrifying Lincoln Trio on Sunday, March 1 at 4 PM at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, New York.

Nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY Award, the Lincoln Trio has become Chicago’s most celebrated chamber ensemble. Praised for "sheer technical ability, unanimity of phrasing, and beautiful blended tone," the trio takes its name from their home in the heartland of the USA. Polished presentations and their ability to forge new paths with contemporary repertoire has led to the group's reputation as a first-rate ensemble.

Their Howland program includes a Beethoven piano trio and a work by our own resident composer Debra Kaye. Join us as we welcome the Lincoln Trio to our Piano Festival!

“Tisziji’s music is of a unique, other-worldly nature… although I didn’t understand it, I was galvanized. He began to instruct me in how to accompany and play this type of music. Thus began a musical and spiritual friendship which continues to this day. ..." - Paul Shaffer

John Medeski, of the genre-defying trio Medeski Martin & Wood, has garnered fans across the musical spectrum. Built upon jazz roots, electronics and rhythmic grooves, MMW have broken out of the traditional jazz sphere.
