 The Hudson Mutants are a rock ensemble of 4 talented young musicians hailing from Croton on Hudson NY! They have been together since Oct 2018 and play a variety of music from classic rock to disco as well as modern pop/rock hits! At the tender age of 11-13, the ensemble really impresses everywhere they go as many of the members have already been playing multiple instruments for years and therefore take different roles in the band depending on the song. They even each have a song where they get on the mic to sing!
The members include: Nico Steele on drums, Klaus Weber on keys, Bodhi Portnoy on bass and Olive Copeland on vocals! They have performed at local taproom and bottle shop, The Green Growler as well as at the grand opening of Body Axis Studio in Peekskill! With the members being multi-instrumentalists, each show is as dynamic and interesting as the next - an up and coming band you want to keep your eye on!

 Steve is an award winning Americana artist with strong roots in the singer songwriter tradition, country and rock. His influences include The Beatles, Townes Van Zandt, Pete Seeger, and Steve Earle, among others. He's a regular on the Hudson Valley scene with a steadily growing fan base nationwide.
In 2011, Steve won the Hudson Valley SongFest Emerging Artist Competition, Wildflower! Music and Art Festival songwriting competition, Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest (Third Place) and was a Kerrville New Folk finalist. In 2010, Steve was the grand prize winner of the Music 2Life songwriting competition for "The Wall Street Fat Cat Tax Payer Bail Out Blues".
Steve's first C.D. "It Is What It Is" reached number 12 on the folk D.J. Charts in 2007. He's currently working on his latest C.D. with producer Peter Calo set for a January national release. Steve plays Gibson and Gretsch guitars.

Christopher Tignor is a composer, violinist, lecturer, and software engineer. His emotionally charged scores and unique focus on live, performance-based electroacoustic practice has won acclaim within both the classical and experimental communities across 9 LPs on the Western Vinyl and New Albion record labels. He creates the live performance software he uses, shared freely. As a composer he has written and recorded work for The Knights, A Far Cry string orchestra, and Brooklyn Rider string quartet, performing alongside them at premiere venues including Carnegie's Zankel Hall.  Guitarist and composer David Temple is a graduate of the Music School at Eastern Michigan University and is Artistic Director for the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society.
David’s original music has been used internationally in films, television, and other media, and he has presented concerts at many prominent venues, including the Festival of the Arts at Mohonk, the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society and the Ulster Chamber Music Series.
David has recorded four albums, highlighting four centuries of music, including his original compositions and arrangements.

The band lends its idiosyncratic Bluegrass touch to iconic classics by the likes of George Jones, Grandpa Jones, The Beatles, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Jim Croce, Glen Campbell, Burl Ives, The Sons of the Pioneers, The Grateful Dead, among others. You will also hear traditional songs and fiddle tunes, hundreds of years old, selections from the hallowed Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres Trilogy and original songs such as "Kayak!" and "It Must be Hard to be a Married Man in Kingston" which are already young classics. Though his main instrument is guitar, he also plays keyboards, harmonicas, flute, mandolin, and dulcimer.
