 MICHAEL FRANCIS McCARTHY is an itinerant American roots musician. Born and partially raised in South America, McCarthy developed an early love of music through childhood exposure to Bolivian folklore and Grateful Dead records. Picking up the guitar at age four, he began a 30 year odyssey that led him throughout the Americas, wandering the western hemisphere gathering the sounds of the deep south and remote cold north, of the cities and small towns, the cutting edge party towns and the forgotten roadside hollows of yesterday's blues and country circuits, forever in chase of the ghosts of his heroes - Hank, Duane, Jerry, Robert, Merle, Levon, Woody, Bob and the rest. His sound is at once traditional and fresh, featuring powerful vocals, dense guitar work and a repertoire of timeless material delivered with conviction. Based in the Hudson Valley region of upstate New York, McCarthy performs 200 shows a year from the Canada border to the Gulf Coast and all points in between.

 Called "one of the great voices of today," Alexis Cole has been compared to classic jazz singers such as Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day. Her luxurious voice and innovative interpretations make her an instant favorite with audiences of all ages.
Cole is the recipient of a Swing Journal Gold Disk award, and was a winner of the NY Jazzmobile and Montreux Jazz Festival vocal competitions. She records for Motéma Music, NY, Chesky Records, NY and Venus Records Japan. Her recordings have received high praise in the jazz press and are spun on radio world-wide. The showcase steps:
Phase I: Eisenhower Hall Theatre will host a series of auditions at open mic events from October - January. Singers, musicians, bands and more are welcome to participate.
Phase II: 36 contestants chosen from Phase I will perform at a semi-final elimination round at Ike's Riverside. They'll battle in front of a live audience and will be judged by high profile music industry representatives, prior Voice and Apollo contestants, and military personnel.
Phase III: 12 contestants from the Phase II will compete at the final Battleground Talent Show. The winner will perform at Ike Hall and at a Iheartradio concert, receive a marketing package and have their music played on iHeartradio!

 Saxophonist Bradford Hayes has been a force on the jazz scene in the northeastern U.S. for many years. He has performed at Birdland, Tavern of the Green, and the Beacon Theater, among other places and has performed with Gerald Alston, Yusef Lateef, Ted Curson, Michael Cochrane, Joe Lee Wilson, Jimmy Heath, Al Grey, Cecil Payne, Rufus Reid, Ray Bryant, Ben Riley, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Cecil Brooks III, Jerry Butler, and the Dells, among others.
Mr. Hayes has also opened for Chico Freeman, Betty Carter, Joe Henderson, Max Roach, Marlena Shaw, Pieces of a Dream, and Hilton Ruiz, among others. In addition to leading his own band, Bradford spent 15 years with Babatunde Olatunji's Drums of Passion Band, serving as Musical Director for the last 3 years, and performing with them at Yankee Stadium to welcome Nelson Mandela's historic trip to the U.S.
In addition to all of this, Mr. Hayes is a Prince Hall Mason, a Nobel of the Mystic Shrine, and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

This classic rock band from the Hudson Valley, led by Fred Zepplin, has developed a reputation for unconventional song selection, soaring vocals and a unique performance style - unexpected from a ukulele-fronted band! The band celebrates Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, and of course Led Zeppelin.
Although Fred Zepplin has opened for numerous national acts, their tagline "Live, local and homegrown rock" is well-respected and supported in clubs and bars throughout the neighboring territories.

| Dancing on a line between imagination and reality, ethereal-folk artist, Annie Sumi, invites you into a familiar world. Like an inbound wind, her voice begins with a whisper -- gathering strength and purpose -- it transforms into an airy howl. The songs take you to a place of quiet wonder, unspoken love, and serene landscapes. With support from the Ontario Arts Council, Sumi has shared these compositions with audiences across North America, the UK, and Central Europe. Since the release of her debut album, in 2015, she has received nominations for "New/Emerging Artist of the Year" (Canadian Folk Music Awards, 2018), "Best Singer-Songwriter" (TIMAs, 2015), "Female Vocalist" (HMAs, 2016), and more. She will be releasing her latest creation, "Solastalgia", in 2020 -- a reflection on the malleability of love and landscape . |
