Lindsey WebsterThe FALCON & The FALCON UNDERGROUND
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
From the first note, Lindsey Webster combines an admirable natural talent with a genuine, accessible stage presence. In 2009, Lindsey met her partner, Keith Slattery, and started performing professionally. Together, with a band of world-class musicians, they’ve performed hundreds of shows regionally, nationally and internationally.

www.lindseywebstermusic.com

The success of her second album "You Change" and achieving the only vocally driven song to hit #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz chart for four weeks, caught the eye of Shanachie Entertainment, whom she signed with to release her third album, "Back To Your Heart".

On her fourth outing - Love Inside - Webster continues a devotion to smooth R&B and soul traditions that made Anita Baker, Phyllis Hyman, Angela Bofill, and Angela Winbush, urban adult contemporary staples in households.

The Hudson Mutants are a rock ensemble of 4 talented young musicians hailing from Croton on Hudson NY! They have been together since Oct 2018 and play a variety of music from classic rock to disco as well as modern pop/rock hits! At the tender age of 11-13, the ensemble really impresses everywhere they go as many of the members have already been playing multiple instruments for years and therefore take different roles in the band depending on the song. They even each have a song where they get on the mic to sing!

The members include: Nico Steele on drums, Klaus Weber on keys, Bodhi Portnoy on bass and Olive Copeland on vocals! They have performed at local taproom and bottle shop, The Green Growler as well as at the grand opening of Body Axis Studio in Peekskill! With the members being multi-instrumentalists, each show is as dynamic and interesting as the next - an up and coming band you want to keep your eye on!

Heralded as one of the most important saxophonists of our time, composer and producer, Chico Freeman has perfected an immediately recognizable approach to music and composition, blending what he has experienced from his past and providing fluidity into a future of infinite musical possibilities.

https://chicofreeman.com/

As part of the Freeman family legacy of Chicago; his father, legendary NEA Jazz Master saxophonist Von Freeman; his uncles, guitarist George Freeman; and drummer Bruz Freeman. Freeman went on to play with pop and R & B greats The Temptations, Michael Jackson, The Four Tops, Jackie Wilson, The Dells, The Isley Brothers, and The Eurythmics.

A legendary concert at Lincoln Center, by The Young Lions, a group critics hailed as the brightest hopes of jazz in the 1980’s — Chico Freeman, Wynton Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, Kevin Eubanks, and others — produced an album on which Freeman plays nearly every cut.

Saratoga Springs, NY is home to Michael Jerling, a nationally touring singer-songwriter with four decades of poignant, poetic, wry songs. As a keen observer of American life, Michael has a special genius for touching, timeless ballads that continue to sound fresh down through the decades. His songs are eye-opening without being shocking, funny without being silly, and instructive without preaching. His immediately recognizable, rich, melodic folk-rock sound comes from his 6 and 12 string guitars, harmonica and mandolin.

Kingston, NY   See Map
The Quartet consists of Charley Schikowitz on fiddle and Mandolin, "Wild" Bill Drucker on banjo, Jon Ahmadjian on guitar and "GetDown" Colin Brown driving the standup Bass. The band lends its idiosyncratic Bluegrass touch to iconic classics by the likes of George Jones, Grandpa Jones, The Beatles, Elvis, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Jim Croce, Glen Campbell, Burl Ives, The Sons of the Pioneers, The Grateful Dead, among others. You will also hear traditional songs and fiddle tunes, hundreds of years old, selections from the hallowed Beverly Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Green Acres Trilogy and original songs such as "Kayak!" and "It Must be Hard to be a Married Man in Kingston" which are already young classics. This Monday is a special event because the entire Quartet is likely to be there, an event often precluded by their intense schedule of personal appearances. Come on down to The Hoedown at the Duo!
