Which musician did Aretha Franklin definitely NOT want missing from the line-up when she recorded her most inspired albums. Who provided the back-beat for Steely Dan's "Aja", and for whom have Isaac Hayes, Donny Hathaway, B.B. King, "Sweet" Lou Donaldson, Joe Cocker and Hank Crawford reserved that stool behind the drum kit? No other drummer in the last three decades has seen the interior of a recording studio as often. A native of Elkton, Maryland - Purdie has laid down the beat on over 3000 albums to date.

The legendary drummer's style is described as the "funkiest soul beat" in the business. Purdie has never limited his talents, but has consistently sought out new musical experiences, anchoring sessions with the Rolling Stones, James Brown and Tom Jones.

Featuring six of the NY Metro Area's finest musicians, and dedicated students of the music of Pink Floyd:

John Anderson (Guitar, Vocals) ...who stays up at night studying David Gilmour's guitar effects, Mars (Keyboards)...who at the age of 10 began piano lessons so he could be just like Richard Wright, Craig Caselli (Bass)...like Roger Waters; someone had to be the leader, Scott Petry (Drums, Vocals) ...as with Nick Mason, hopes to have his own Ferrari collection someday, Ray Hendricks (Saxophone, Vocals)...who now believes he is Dick Parry, and Tabitha Dente (Backing Vocals).

Conceiving and building a tribute band is not for the faint of heart, especially if it's the music of Pink Floyd. It takes, talent, time, passion, and a love for the music they'll be performing.
