Barton Orchards is hosting a customer appreciation celebration on Sunday August 25, 2019. Stereo Mike's will be playing outside the Tasting Room from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. We want to the thank the owners and all the staff for having us back after the Balloon Festival . Come and start your morning with us while we play your favorite songs that you heard on the radio this morning, expertly crafted by your Favorite Mike's. The Sullivan County Historical Society presents Rockabilly Hall of Fame singer, producer, songwriter, Mickey Barnett. Barnett, a Sullivan County legend from the days of the great Catskill hotels, is well known for performing the tunes of Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Carl Perkins. Recognized for its virtuosity, exuberant performance style, and often-daring repertory choices, the Pacifica Quartet has achieved international recognition as one of the finest chamber ensembles performing today. Named the quartet-in-residence at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in March 2012, the Pacifica was previously the quartet-in-residence at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and received a Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music Performance. In 2017, the Pacifica Quartet was appointed to lead the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies at the Aspen Music Festival and School.
Love comes in many shapes, sizes, and forms. There is the love one feels for their partner, child, parent and community; but there is also unrequited love, love in loss and death, love of the hunt. Explored throughout this eclectic program is love in its many manifestations and interpretations. Join us as we explore love as it is found throughout this collection of vocal music from the worlds of classical music and musical theatre.
On Sunday, August 25 starting at 4:00 pm join us at MISU for a performance recital by tenor Vitalis Im and pianist Valentina Shatalova that explores the many types of love. Admission is $10.00. This is sure to be a wonderful performance by a former MISU student and teacher Vitalis.
Event will showcase music of Jewish origin, include Broadway musical, jazz and traditional. It will share a sense of Jewish pride, unity, culture and traditions to a wider community utilizing the platform of Jewish music.
The Woodstock Celtic Session is a weekly gathering of Traditional musicians who come together to enjoy and play Irish music and more in a pub setting. All are welcome to play or listen in an acoustic unplugged pub setting. We’ve been playing together every Monday night for since 2002!

Shannon and Pete are very excited to return to Angry Orchard for the Wolf Cider Jam and nothing says summertime like country music and some delicious hard cider.
Featuring musicians from the Hudson Valley, the outdoor concerts are free and open to the public. People are encouraged to bring a chair and blanket, hear the music, enjoy the great outdoors and experience all NY State Parks have to offer. Concert starts at 6pm. Come enjoy the sounds of acoustic rock, blues, Americana and jazz.
