 Bob Stanhope is a singer, songwriter, and sometimes humorist who has performed for over five decades in clubs, churches, and coffeehouses mainly around the northeast. Recently he's been featured at the City Center Danbury Summer Concert Series, The Bushnell in Hartford, First Night Danbury, CT, the Putnam County 4-H Fair in NY, the Barn at Quaker Hill in Pawling, NY, among many others. While his more serious material might be compared to Billy Joel or Harry Chapin, his comic / satirical side could be likened to Weird Al Yankovick or Adam Sandler. This humorous side was nurtured during his many years during the 80s and 90s as the morning personality on a variety of suburban radio stations.

 Praised for their “intelligence” and “immensely satisfying playing” by the New York Times, the Amernet String Quartet has garnered recognition as one of today’s exceptional string quartets and is Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University in Miami. Their sound has been called “complex” but with an “old world flavor.” Strad Magazine described the Amernet as “…a group of exceptional technical ability.” The Amernet’s have collaborated with many of today’s most prominent artists and ensembles including the Tokyo and Ying quartets as well as Shmuel Ashkenasi, Robert deMaine, Roberto Diaz, Gary Hoffman, Ida Kavafian, Anthony McGill, Sherrill Milnes, Michael Tree. Earlier in their career, the Amernet won the gold medal at the Tokyo International Music Competition before being named first prize winners of the prestigious Banff International String Quartet Competition.

 The song writers, Jeff Entin and Bob Blum met in a mental hospital in 1972, where they were both Aides. Discovering that playing music together was much more fun and rewarding, they have been at it ever since. When they were joined by drummer, Larry Balestra a few years ago, the unit was complete. We have recently released our first album of original music, aptly named “Pleased to Meetcha”.
"The Acquaintances" is a trio playing original music ranging in style from Miles Davis to Bob Dylan, Asleep at the Wheel to Frank Zappa We also do a fair share of covers including everything from Jazz standards to Rockabilly.
For the last few years, we've been playing clubs, halls and coffee houses throughout Upstate NY, New England and Pennsylvania.

 With an original live score composed and performed by renowned klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals and silent film music legend, pianist Donald Sosin, Tompkins Corners will present The Ancient Law Cine-Concert on Saturday, August 24th at 7:30pm.
Director E.A. DuPont’s 1923 silent film, The Ancient Law (Das Alte Gesetz) is about a rabbi’s son who runs away to become an actor and is disowned by his father.
Digitally restored in 2017, it paints a complex portrait of the tension between tradition and modernity, and is an outstanding example of the creativity of Jewish filmmakers in 1920’s Germany.

The Woodstock Celtic Session is a weekly gathering of Traditional musicians who come together to enjoy and play Irish music and more in a pub setting. All are welcome to play or listen in an acoustic unplugged pub setting. We’ve been playing together every Monday night for since 2002!
