After a hiatus to teach and raise her kids, she has returned to the stage, to the delight of her audiences. Rich Newman is a journeyman on the Hudson Valley open mic circuit whose songs include memorable musings on love, loss and longevity, all of which were, as he puts it, "carefully extracted from the lint filter of my heart." Together as Break the Bright Red Chains, Diachishin and Newman perform their original songs, traditional tunes, classic country hits, contemporary folk and Americana, and parodies.Hudson Valley Folk Guild

"The Doo Wop Project is street corner singing for a whole new generation. Their show begins at the beginning, tracing the evolution of Doo Wop-from the classic sound of five guys singing tight harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today. Throughout the show, DWP takes you on a journey from foundational tunes of groups like the Crests, Belmonts, and Flamingos right through their influences on the sounds of Smokey Robinson, the Temptations, and the Four Seasons...all the way to Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, and Amy Winehouse.Featuring current and former stars of Broadway’s smash hits Jersey Boys and Motown: The Musical, along with their hot band, The Doo Wop Project brings unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate — and in some cases reimagine — some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history. Between them, these five young performers count various Tony Awards, Grammy nominations, and other accolades to their names.Enjoy a nighBuy Tickets!
