[Two Show Time’s: 1pm & 4pm] Genevieve Goings and Constantine “DC” Abramson, the stars of Disney Junior’s “Choo Choo Soul”, are entering their 11th year of entertaining pre-schoolers and parents worldwide. Born from the mind of a Silicon Valley video game developer, Choo Choo Soul began as a children’s hip-hop/soul album that “won’t drive parents crazy.” The album caught fire and the brand was acquired by Disney and developed into a live-action television interstitial paired with animation in 2006 that encouraged young viewers to get up and dance to their funky, urban sound. Choo Choo Soul began touring the country in 2007 and has performed for thousands of children in over 100 cities across the globe. With the wildfire success of the go-to duo for tots, Disney commissioned a release of their second studio album; a remake mash up of Classic Disney hits. Seven Freedoms Music & Records
22 Railroad Avenue
Montgomery, NY   See Map
Since his first solo concert in 1996, Fred Gillen Jr has traveled all over the U.S. and Europe singing his songs of hope and struggle at all types of venues, building a devoted following along the way. He feels at home performing at any type and size of venue, from a "house concert" in Indiana to Irving Plaza in New York City, to the main stages of festivals, and everything in between. He has played at many prestigious and famous venues, and as many farmers markets, coffeehouses, pubs, and union rallies. At every performance he opens his heart and pours out compelling tales of the marginalized and forgotten. His songs have often been described as both painfully intimate and universal, and this is what he strives for in writing them.

Mike Aiken
Singer-Songwriter, Americana, and Roots Music
Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts
Online: www.wtbq.com or 93.5FM, NY   See Map
Mike Aiken is an Americana, Country, Roots artist with an ocean view. Originally from rural Western New York, outside of Buffalo, he currently lives aboard his sailboat in Norfolk, Virginia when he’s not on the road or in Nashville. His highly anticipated seventh studio album, WAYWARD TROUBADOUR, will be released early in 2018, a follow up to Grammy-nominated CAPTAINS & COWBOYS. An inner sense of chivalry oozes from every story he tells and every song he sings. Aiken has drawn tales - and hope - from “trail riders, aging rodeo champs, sea captains, Rastafarians and outlaws on the lamb” and crafted tunes that draw the threads of these independent spirits together. Live you can expect to hear upbeat, rootsy grooves, from slide guitar to honky-tonk piano, percussion and incredible harmony. Aiken’s love for singing, songwriting and sailing has taken him all over the world. As a songwriter who comes by his stories honestly, he puts pen to paper and shares his colored and colorful life..

Jacqui Naylor Quartet
Jazz
BeanRunner Cafe
201 S. Division Street @ Esther
Peekskill, NY   See Map
"Naylor remains one of the most superbly arresting vocalists around." - JazzTimes

"Naylor excels as a sensitive song interpreter with unerring intonation." - DownBeat

"Jacqui has a sumptuous voice, knack for scratchiness, and an ability to sweeten those bluesy bent notes." - Village Voice

This velvet-toned vocalist and songwriter is equally at ease singing music by Cole Porter and David Byrne as she is her own original music. Far from a straight-laced jazz purist, Naylor has made the mixing (and sometimes "smashing") of genres and eras her stock-in-trade, gaining fans and notoriety for singing the lyrics and melody of jazz standards over the grooves of well-known pop and rock songs and vice versa. "Naylor has brought new twists to the notion of melding jazz and pop tunes - without high-tech assistance," claims NPR.
