I'm thrilled to be on the same bill with my good friends and awesome performers Patty Smith and Helen Avakian. Helen lives in Wisconsin now, and became the first woman to win the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship since leaving "The 'Hud". But she's back for a week, and has a few gigs here, Patty's lovely vocals are a big hit in local venues, and I do quite a lot of fingerstyle myself (-: including some awesome 12-string slide instrumentals... if I do say so myself! :-). Great times at The High Falls Cafe! See you there!

| The Warwick Valley Chorale is continuing its 75th anniversary celebration by participating in a concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall on May 28, 2016. This concert by MidAmerica Productions will feature the world premiere of Ivo Antognini’s oratorio A Prayer for Mother Earth. In the words of the composer, this work “is a declaration of love and a thanksgiving to our beautiful planet, to its creator and all living beings that inhabit it.” After this performance, the Chorale will be presenting the oratorio at two local concerts the weekend of June 3-5 under the baton of Maestro Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson.
Curtis will conduct the 75-member Chorale in the Antognini oratorio, as well as a stirring John Rutter arrangement of American spirituals, a sequence of Gwyneth Walker settings, and other traditional American songs.

 Born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, William Maisonet-Torres was influenced by his father, renowned percussionist William Maisonet Figueroa (a/k/a Papo Conga) and his mother Doris who sang and recorded a few Boleros. Willy quickly developed a keen ear, a natural affinity for percussion, and a deep love for the music of Puerto Rico.
Willy is a regular on the New York Latin session scene and has recorded vocals for Rey Ruiz, Tito Nieves, Alexandre Pires, Ricardo Montaner, Christian Castro, Gilberto Santarosa, Ricky Martin, to name a few.
He has released 3 albums "Willy's NYC Salsa Project" (2008), "Hardcore" (2011), and "On Another Path" (2015); has received 9 Grammy nominations; and is a 4 time Grammy awardee: 2004 (The Spanish Harlem Orchestra "Across 110 Street"), 2006 (Best Tropical Album Producer), 2010 (The Spanish Harlem Orchestra "Viva La Tradicion"), and 2013 (for collaboration & as guest artist for The Pacific Mambo Orchestra). After graduating from the University of Miami’s prestigious Bruce Hornsby Creative American Music Program in the Spring of 2014, Talay immediately began making waves on the New York music scene. Sought after as a session player on guitar, bass, and backing vocals, she has toured both locally and nationally supporting other NYC-based acts. This session work helped finance her debut EP Piece by Piece, which has been called “a return to meaningful, introspective songwriting…with memorable melody lines, tight harmonies, and passionate, powerful vocals” by radio host Bruce Figler at New York’s 107.1 The Peak. She has performed her own work at Manhattan’s CMJ Music Marathon and last summer’s Pleasantville Music Festival. She is currently finishing a second EP due out later this year.

 Alan "Chip" White began the Dedications series in 2008 with Double Dedication, followed by More Dedications (2009) and Personal Dedications & Percussive Tributes (2011). Each includes Chip's original compositions and poems for the jazz masters from his book "I’m Just the Drummer in the Band". He released the fourth volume of his dedication series, Family Dedications and More, in December 2014 and it moved up to # 4 on the Jazz Chart.
Chip has performed and/or recorded with a variety of artists, including Carman McCrae, Jaki Byard, John Abercrombie, Frank Wess, Chet Baker, Jimmy McGriff, Houston Person and Etta Jones, and Savion Glover, among others and his Ensemble has recently performed at Dizzy's Coca Cola/Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kitano, Sweet Rhythm, and the Lenox Lounge in New York City.

 NY Blues Hall of Fame member Regina Bonelli has been dubbed the "Queen of New York City Blues" by Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine.
In 2015 Regina was voted #8 of the Top 25 Women in Music by the readers of Blues-E-News magazine.
Regina Bonelli is an accomplished singer, songwriter and keyboard player. She and her band perform original music from Regina's self penned 2015 release "Open Up The Door" plus some funk and soul classic favorites. The CD has received airplay on stations worldwide including as a "Pick to Click" and "Rack of Blues" favorite on BB King's Bluesville on SiriusXM radio, as well as air play in Europe, Australia and the UK. "Open Up The Door" is a best seller on international blues charts and has consistently been in the Top 10 and 20 of the Amazon Blues Best Sellers and Hot Releases charts, topping even the legendary Bessie Smith. Owners George Candreva and MaryAnn Avon have developed an exemplary program for music students of all ages. They provide voice, wind instrument, piano, guitar and even music technology lessons in their state-of-the-art digital studio.

| The Warwick Valley Chorale is continuing its 75th anniversary celebration by participating in a concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall on May 28, 2016. This concert by MidAmerica Productions will feature the world premiere of Ivo Antognini’s oratorio A Prayer for Mother Earth. In the words of the composer, this work “is a declaration of love and a thanksgiving to our beautiful planet, to its creator and all living beings that inhabit it.” After this performance, the Chorale will be presenting the oratorio at two local concerts the weekend of June 3-5 under the baton of Maestro Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson.
Curtis will conduct the 75-member Chorale in the Antognini oratorio, as well as a stirring John Rutter arrangement of American spirituals, a sequence of Gwyneth Walker settings, and other traditional American songs.

Workshop is limited to 8 "acts." Open to solos, duos, trios, etc.
Combinations must perform as such for in-class performances and the final concert.
Sessions will begin with 60-90 minute class sessions centering on a particular body of topics, followed by peer feedback.
Topics to be covered will include: working in different performance formats; developing audience rapport as well as developing a positive, confident stage presence; and much more.
Feedback sessions: performers wishing to do so will be able to practice their skills in front of the group and receive supportive

Cost for the four workshop sessions is $85. Per person.
