Soñando!
Latin
The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
The hot Latin sounds of Soñando have earned them the reputation as the Hudson Valley's premier Latin band.

This spicy blend of music and musicians have performed in clubs, at private functions, community festivals, benefit concerts, on radio and television, as well as the Puerto Rico Day Parade in NYC, but the band is at home wherever a dance floor can be cleared.

Fueled by a fiery rhythm section and high-octane horns, Soñando plays a wide variety of Latin styles from Plena and Son to Salsa and Merengue!

"The name of the band is Spanish for "dreaming" but when the hordes come out for Soñando, they don't sleepwalk-they dance. And we're not talking a few perfunctory head-bobs or butt-wiggles, they dance until they go up in flames like, Tula's unquenchable bedroom in the Cuban lyrics above." -Woodstock Times

Rock n Roll, Country, Dreamer, too name a few. Anthony K has been labeled all of these, but if you needed to sum him up it would be - a very talented musician. Born in MA and raised in Maine, Anthony K began forming bands and performing live while growing up in the New England music scene, until he moved to Upstate New York and called this home for a while. Once established there and creating enough buzz with one of his rock bands, he caught the attention of a label and signed a deal in New York. A CD was released and the group received success through airplay worldwide, constant promotion, and nonstop relentless touring. ANTHONY K ON JUKEBOXES My current 7 song EP "memories" including the 1st single 'Marry Me' is now on jukeboxes! Head out to your local establishment and play & enjoy my music.

Even before forming the pioneering, Grammy winning, platinum selling rock band Living Colour, Corey's incredible talent as a personality and as an artist was brought to the attention of director Oliver Stone. The famed movie maker decided to cast Corey in his Vietnam epic, Platoon.

As a founding member of Living Colour, Corey earned numerous industry awards including back-to-back Grammys for Best Hard Rock Performance of 1989 ('Cult of Personality') and 1990 (Time's Up) and emerged as one of the most influential rock acts of all time, regularly selling out arenas and millions of albums.

Corey found the time to form a new band, VICE, which enables him to satisfy his appetite to write in other genres and impact a whole new set of listeners.
