 Veteran musicians Joe Gil (trombone), Neil Alexander (organ and keyboards) and Jason Furman (drums) have put together a new group called the "Thunderhead Organ Trio". The group is taking the concept of the organ trio in a new and different direction, drawing on many different influences and styles.
The group explores the grittier, rockier side of the genre referencing groups like the original Tony Williams Lifetime and mines the jazz standard repertoire for obscure gems and deep cuts.
The group will be playing original tunes, jazz standards, lost classics and rare gems.

 Our once-monthly Kids' Open Mic is a showcase for talented musicians and singers ages 6 - 17. Sing solo or with a band. Teachers are welcome to perform with student.
Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play. We provide a drum kit, keyboard, amps and microphones. iPod backing music accommodated. (Internet connection not available, so have your song pre-set.)
Our Kids' Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Come to perform or just come to listen!
Sign-up begins at 5:30. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Every month, we offer a $10 Burger special for kids 12 & under. Bring the entire family and enjoy a night of great food and great musical fun. Please make dinner reservations early, as we often sell out.

John Medeski, of the genre-defying trio Medeski Martin & Wood, and has recording credits include John Zorn, Iggy Pop, T Bone Burnett, Ray Lamontagne, Dan The Automator and k.d. Lang. Medeski has produced The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, pedal steel guitar group The Campbell Brothers, and two records from The Wood Brothers.

| Melinda Burgard, an NYU Master’s in Music Therapy Graduate, is proud of her Clinical Training which has lead her to hold the credentials of Certified Music Therapist and NYS Licensed Creative Arts Therapist. Her live Music Programs have been described as a “Gentle Musical Hug.” Melinda’s skills have assisted her in the process of creating a very special and unique Children’s Music CD. This CD has been used to facilitate Speech. One parent of a 5 yr. old FINALLY got to hear her child say “I Love You!” Her current passion is her FREE Music Social Music Program (affiliated with the Alzheimer’s Association) for those with Alzheimer’s and their Family Caregivers. It has been said that her personality and talents are perfect for the work she does. An RN states “Tremendous benefits for those elderly who have dementia or suffered a stroke—Melinda’s Music Therapy stirs the mind and soul. Melinda continues to be a strong advocate and Pioneer of Music Therapy in Orange County, NY. |

 Award winning, New York bred saxophonist, Ray Blue, brings his up and coming music students to play their hearts out.
Ray has performed and recorded with Bernard Purdie, Patience Higgins, Steve Turre, The Sun Ra Arkestra, Cotton Club All Stars, Harlem Blues and Jazz Band and many others. He has toured as a cast member of the "Ray Charles Show"; performed at international jazz festivals including the Zanzibar International Film Festival; North Sea Jazz Festival-Cape Town, South Africa; Audi Jazz Festival-Brussels, Belgium; and the Foix Jazz Festival, France among others; and was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, 2013.
