379 Main St.
Beacon, NY   See Map
Since 1979, only 2 women have ever won the world fingerstyle guitar championship title. You can see them both on this historic occasion. Muriel Anderson is world renowned. Her praises have been sung by Chet Atkins, Les Paul and Doc Watson just to name a few. Her music was taken in the space shuttle, and her most recent CD "Nightlight Daylight" won 11 major awards. Helen Avakian is the 2014 International Fingerstyle Champion. Minor 7th called her recent CD "Notes From Helen" one of the finest guitar CDs of any style ever. It won't be all dazzling guitar instrumentals from these ladies this night, though there will be a lot of that! There will also be beautiful vocal songs, both original songs and fascinating interpretations of well known cover songs. Don't miss this. Who knows when their paths can cross like this again. with Mike Milazzo, & Broken Arrow
Rock (classic), Acoustic, and Country
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
Mike Milazzo is an accomplished singer/songwriter and guitarist who blends rock, folk, country, and blues into a distinctive Americana sound. Mike takes his wooden and electric instruments and creates a raw, heartfelt, singular sound. His most recent CD, "Love Is A Cage" features an eclectic mix of songs, honed by hundreds of live performances and showcasing Milazzo's years of performing. Reflective of his time spent in NYC, the CD has come from broken relationships, interactions gone wrong, and stories of lost love affairs of the past.

"During his set he will cover big name acts from Muddy Waters to Johnny Cash ... We think of Elvis Costello at times" - William Glenn

Mike has performed as an opening act for Donovan, Richie Havens, and Levon Helm. We're excited to present Mike & Broken Arrow to our 12 Grapes stage.

**$5 Entertainment Fee for all, including diners**

Opening Act
with Soulia and the Sultans, Jenifer Constantine, Jude Roberts, John Cox, Mike Gonzales, Steve Greenfield, Kesai Riddick
The FALCON
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Soulia and the Sultans spring from a tradition of female fronted jazz bands where the chanteuse recounts the tales of The Great American Songbook. Backed by a versatile and highly capable gentlemen’s band, Soulia breathes modern sensibility into a carefully culled repertoire of songs that are at once sultry, playful, and not altogether expected. From the starry eyed No Moon at All a la Julie London, to Julia Lee’s bluesy King Size Papa, or Jobim's hypnotic Corcovado, listeners are taken on an evocative musical journey. The results are intimate and authentic, at once conjuring the nocturnal spirit of nightclubs and gin joints from days gone by, while telling a new, yet timeless story through that lens.

NeeNee Rushie - born and raised in Jamaica - is a captivating and memorable front woman, supported by a playful horn section, pulsating bass and drums, and a hypnotizing rhythm section that fills its audience’s hearts with good vibes and solid joy.

This New York based band was formed in 2008, and since then has played over 500 shows in cities all over the east coast. They have released two full length studio albums, and anticipate a third by the new year. They also have the pleasure of sharing the stage with true reggae royalty such as The Wailers, The Skatalites, The Slackers, Yellow Man, Taurrus Riley, Inner Circle, and Sister Nancy.

Join Lindsey Webster and her band of world-class musicians.

In today’s world of electronic music where programmed drum loops and auto-tuned vocals reign, Lindsey Webster is a breath of fresh air. A refreshing take on R&B with a soulful presence; Lindsey’s vocals compare to the likes of R&B queens Sade, Mariah Carey and Anita Baker. But it doesn't end there- Lindsey's stellar voice is backed with lush chords and a tight pocket played by a world-class band of musicians, lending it's sound to the genre of Soul R&B. Making strides in her local community of Woodstock, NY right on down to NYC, Lindsey and her band have been wowing crowds since 2009 (and along the way performing with Michael Bolton and sharing the stage with the likes of Donald Fagen and John Legend, among other notables). With one record down and another on the way, Lindsey is more focused now than ever and is ready to make an even bigger name for herself as a recording artist and writer.

Great Blue (a/k/a Shirl Lawrence and Steve Kaplan) is a musical duo using two voices, guitars and mandolin to weave a fabric of eclectic tunes that warm the heart and feed the soul. Their memorable harmonies are carefully delivered to touch people by emphasizing meaningful lyrics. They pass on songs from their musical influences in addition to showcasing tunes they have crafted themselves.

Dave Hull will be opening this show. He has been a featured showcase performer and open mic finalist at the Towne Crier Café in Beacon. Hull possesses a passion for poetry and quirky humor. His unique original and interpretive songs reflect his use of imagery, candor and whimsy to grab and hold his audience.

Coming back to the BeanRunner is like coming home. With an eclectic menu of specialty soups, salads, panini sandwiches, gyros and wraps (some vegetarian and gluten free), you can have a cool beer, a great glass of wine, or some awesome coffee and finish off a great Sunday afternoon.

As siblings in rural upstate New York, Jocelyn and Chris Arndt, left their living room practice space, playing anywhere they found permission and a power outlet. Their originals combined retro grooves, blues, and classic rock sensibility, resulting in mature, multifaceted songs with timeless energy, sensuality, and passion.

Their debut EP “Strangers In Fairyland” was released in October 2014 to critical acclaim. A followup Holiday Song “Still” was digitally released as well, followed by “Here To Stay”, a retro-swing-infused love song featuring Danny Louis of Gov’t Mule on keys. Jocelyn and Chris have performed across the country including appearances at The Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. They’ve also appeared live on Fox-TVs “Good Day New York” and Chattanooga, Tennessee’s “Weekend Today”. With songs that conjure unique emotion, there is one reason the music becomes unforgettable. That one thing is Jocelyn Arndt.
