This New York based band was formed in 2008, and since then has played over 500 shows in cities all over the east coast. Dafnis Prieto’s arrival in the U.S. has been compared by to that of an asteroid hitting New York. Within a short period of time Prieto’s revolutionary drumming techniques had a powerful impact on the Latin and jazz music scene, locally and internationally. He is a recipient of various awards, including the 2011 MacArthur Fellowship Award and Up and Coming Musician of the Year by the Jazz Journalists Association in 2006. Prieto was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards. The album Dafnis Prieto Absolute Quintet was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album that year.

 Annette A. Aguilar (multi-percussionist, Band leader recording artist, producer and educator.) was born in San Francisco into a family from Nicaragua.
At the age of 16 she was sitting in and performing with renowned Latin artists from Santana, Cal Tjader and Pete and Sheila Escovedo (Sheila E). She earned a BA in music performance from San Francisco State Univ., and a MA from the Manhattan School of Music.
She has toured internationally and has performed and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, The Grateful Dead, Darlene Love, Jefferson airplane, The Four Tops, Tito Puente, Dave Valentine, Ray Brown, and Mose Allison, among others.
She also has toured with Grammy award winning Broadway shows, has recorded for T.V. and film, and has been the principal timpanist for the Bronx Symphony since 1997.
In 1992, Annette formed her Afro-Cuban, Latin Jazz Brazilian group, Annette A. Aguilar & StringBeans, which has just release their third CD "The Day Waits for NOBODY."

The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.
Greg Westhoff has performed on the Tonight Show and is the orchestra drummer for "Family Guy". Greg also performed with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band on the popular disco-era hit " A Fifth of Beethoven". | Kim & Reggie Harris mix traditional songs and spirituals with finely crafted original songs. They inspire audiences as they sing of life, love, justice and peace. Consummate musicians and storytellers, their latest CD, “Resurrection Day,” integrates themes of life into a moving personal examination of discovery and hope drawn from the Reggie’s experience as an organ transplant recipient. In addition to touring as musicians, Kim & Reggie have been artists with the John F Kennedy Center’s Partners in Education program for over 20 years offering in person and multimedia educational performances for students and educators, on the music of the Underground Railroad and civil rights. In May 2013, Kim Harris was awarded her Ph.D. in Liturgy and Music from Union Theological Seminary in NYC, for her work on the role of music in Black Catholic liturgy. Her celebrated mass "Welcome Table", a work based on African-American Spirituals, was published by GIA in the new Black Catholic Hymnal in 2013. |

A successful solo spot at the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival in Great Britain led Bromberg to a solo deal with Columbia Records, & his 1971 album, including the mock-anguished “Suffer to Sing the Blues". The album also included "The Holdup,” - a collaboration with George Harrison, who played slide guitar on the track. David also met the Grateful Dead & wound up with four of their members, including Jerry Garcia, playing on his next two albums.
The release of "Try Me One More Time", in 2007,David was playing shows with his Angel Band, the David Bromberg Quartet, & the David Bromberg Big Band. His album "Use Me", features friends like John Hiatt, the late Levon Helm, Los Lobos, Tim O’Brien, Vince Gill, Widespread Panic, Dr. John, Keb’ Mo’ & others. |

 Larry Campbell, has been a studio musician & respected sideman, moving freely between rock, blues, country, folk & Celtic, playing guitar, fiddle, mandolin, pedal steel, cittern, dobro & banjo. He is best-known as a member of Bob Dylan's "Never Ending Tour" band from 1997 -2004.
Larry has recorded with Bob Dylan, Levon Helm, Judy Collins, Sheryl Crow, B. B. King, Willie Nelson, The Black Crowes & performed regularly with Levon Helm for seven years.
In 2008, Larry was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for his instrumental work by the Americana Music Association.
Campbell's production credits are extensive & include three Grammy Awards for Levon Helm's "Dirt Farmer", "Electric Dirt" & Levon's live, "Ramble at The Ryman" & two songs for David Bromberg's "Use Me".
Larry performs with his wife, Teresa Williams, in NY City, on Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, Knoxville's The Blue Plate Special, & regularly at Levon Helm's Midnight Rambles in Woodstock.

12 Grapes' Live Band Karaoke is like traditional karaoke -- people choose a song from a list and sing when it's their turn-- but instead of a pre-recorded background track, the participants sing with a LIVE backing band, and even back-up singers. LBK is way more fun than singing to a pre-recorded track.
We have over 150 songs on our list, including '70s, '80s, '90s and contemporary pop/rock/soul. The list will be posted on the 12 Grapes Facebook page each month, so check it out.

 In 1963, LOU PALLO met his idol, Les Paul. Les began sitting in at Lou’s gigs, rehearsing, recording and sitting in with club acts. In 1984, they formed the Les Paul Trio working every Monday night at Fat Tuesdays NYC. In 1996 the weekly performances moved to the Iridium Jazz Club. Lou Pallo remained the constant in Les Paul’s Trio until Les passed 2009.
In 2012 NICKI PARROTT released Sakura, Sakura (Spring), Summertime, Autumn Leaves and Winter Wonderland on Venus Records. Nicki’s 2008 CD release (Venus Records), Fly Me To The Moon and 2007 CD release (Venus Records), Moon River were voted Swing Journal Magazine Critic’s Poll, “Best Jazz Vocal Album.“

October 29th, 1971, the unthinkable occurred - a fellow Florida musician, Duane Allman was killed in a motorcycle accident. At the time, Les was playing with bandmate Peter Schless, a keyboard player from Venice, Florida in their band Power. Peter knew Dickey Betts and had heard he was looking for players. So Les and Peter drove to Macon, Georgia to jam with Dickey. A few weeks after returning to Florida, Les was called back to Georgia. As a result, Les was invited to record with The Allman Brothers Band. That's Les you hear playing guitar harmonies with Dickey Betts on "Ramblin' Man" and the intro acoustic guitar on "Jessica", their two biggest hits from the Brothers and Sisters album (Capricorn Records).The news spread quickly about this young guitarist Les Dudek was in the Allman Brothers Band |

The group will be performing original Track songs as well as smoking Pop/Rock covers. Their sets are always filled with rich harmonies and impressive improvisations. They go where the music takes them, and we're along for the ride!
