The Hudson Valley CD release takes place in a setting honoring the tone of these melodic, meditative compositions.  For those unfamiliar with the Hudson Valley Blues Scene, it has been home to such renowned blues talent as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby, Murali Coryell and Little Sammy Davis. It was under the tutelage of these master bluesmen, that Dan Brother began his guitar playing and singing career.
Having shared the stage with mentors like his, it’s no wonder Dan picked up a little of everything along the way – from protest era psychedelia to straight-up blues; classic era soul to southern rock and Texas twang. Fiery guitar work is Dan’s forte. He is also a gifted songwriter. . Dan's upcoming CD will feature a dozen tracks written or co-written by Dan. These road tested songs are proven, danceable grooves with memorable sing-along hooks.

These are just some of the accolades being written about Molly Durnin. Her songs have been receiving high praise and extensive air time on radio stations in the Albany area. Molly Durnin is, no doubt, an artist to watch.
Raised at the end of a mile-long dirt road, Molly is connected to open spaces, and it comes through in her songs. In the title track of her latest CD, "Run", Molly sings, "I want to see the foxes steal the light from the street lamps tonight and run with them."
Since the release of "Run", Molly has become a sought-after performer in the upper NY music scene, playing top acoustic venues in the area. In her songs, she speculates on the existence of extraterrestrials, sings of temptation, cheap wine and mermaid revenge. Songs like "The Ocean" and "Skipping Town" are fan favorites.

| Joe Virga learned to play guitar while in the US Navy serving on a helicopter carrier during the Vietnam war. Returning from the service, he began playing in Greenwich Village at Gerdie's Folk City and other Village venues. A short while later, he joined the music Fast Folk Music Cooperative CooP) along with fellow folk musician friends. The CooP became a mecca for the second folk music scene in NYC. Due to the sudden death of his wife in 1985, he was forced to abandon the folk scene to attend to raising his 2 small daughters. He stepped away from folk scene to sing backup vocals for various NY rock bands to supplement his income. 35 years later, he has relocated to southwest Florida where he is active in the folk scene, performing in festivals throughout the state and writing once again. Don't miss his poignant and moving songs! |

 Fourteen year old guitarist, Dylan Doyle is creating a stir in the Hudson Valley. His unique interpretations lie somewhere within the delta of Rock, Rockabilly and the Blues. The consensus among journeymen musicians is that he has a feel for music that can’t be taught and plays like a seasoned pro.
Dylan has played with notable bands Big Joe Fitz and the Low-Fis, Jonny Klenck (Jonny Monster Band), Blues in a Bottle and The Barrel House Blues Band. Dylan was the Featured Performer at “The Blue Pig Memorial Day Gala,” in Bedford, VA this year playing with notable Southern bands Flying Blind and On Tap.

The daughter of music legend Levon Helm & singer/songwriter Libby Titus Fagen, Helm wields a powerful voice that can both stir & soothe, whether she is singing traditional gospel, blues standards or her own heartfelt compositions. She is a gifted musician on both mandolin & drums, and has clearly absorbed the lessons of the many other accomplished artists with whom she has shared stages, including Mavis Staples, Emmylou Harris, & Joan Osborne as well as other uniquely American performers like Dr. John & Hubert Sumlin.

 Connor Kennedy is, arguably, the Hudson Valley music scene’s fastest-rising young prodigy. He unveiled his debut album, Nothing Lasts: Nothing’s Over (Independent), which was heralded with a special record release show at Levon Helm Studios on June 29.
Citing David Gilmour, Albert King, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Freddie King as his inspirations, Kennedy formed his first band, Depot Street, at age 17. In addition to performing as a sideman to others, Kennedy leads the Connor Kennedy Band (which features drummer Lee Falco, bassist Brandon Morrison, and keyboardist Zach Tenorio-Miller) and fronts Rethink Pink, a Pink Floyd tribute act that co-stars guitarist Scott Sharrard of the Gregg Allman Band. Nothing Lasts: Nothing’s Over features six originals and a version of Bob Dylan’s “Goin’ to Acapulco.”

 Join us as we celebrate the release of Kristin Koller's first CD, "LIVE at The Shrine".
Kristina has been performing since the age of 8. Now at 19, Kristina is already making a name for herself at clubs in and around the Hudson Valley and New York City, at charity events and local concerts. Kristina even performed at the world-famous Apollo Theatre last September. Whether she's playing guitar or ukulele, Kristina's voice will mesmerize and surprise you.
The Kristina Koller Band, "LIVE at The Shrine", is comprised mostly of Jazz standards. Tonight, the band will be mixing up a little Funk, Jazz and Rock, plus some Motown classics and even Amy Winehouse.
Led by Kristina on lead vocals, the band is made up of exceptionally talented musicians, including Mark McIntyre (guitar/backup vocals), Greg Schettino (bass/backup vocals), John Venezia (drums) and
Orice Jenkins (keys).

 The Music Festival of Rosendale is a not-for-profit, grassroots citizen organization that comes together for the purpose of continuing the legendary Rosendale Street Festival for the multiple benefits it offers to our community and the Mid-Hudson Valley as a whole. The festival is held on Main Street, Rosendale, New York each July for two days to boost the local economy and boost community interaction. The first Street Fest took place in 1978 so we celebrate it’s 35th Anniversary this year!

New York City-based acoustic duo The Lords of Liechtenstein first met in a hospital in July of 1994. "Hey, let's start a band!" said Dan Rauchwerk to his new little brother, Noah. "Waaah!" said Noah as he had just been born and wasn't quite able to speak yet, much less sing or play the ukulele. The brothers mutually agreed to wait a few years, until Noah was at least potty trained, before pursuing a musical career.
The duo formally joined forces as The Lords of Liechtenstein in 2007. With Noah on ukulele/vocals and Dan on acoustic guitar/banjo/vocals, they honed their stage show at local coffee houses and open mic nights in and around their native Holmdel, New Jersey.
Since those early days,The Lords of Liechtenstein have brought their unique blend of folk music to clubs and coffeehouses all over the East Coast of the United States. |
