jB's soul-Jazz Brunch!!!
with Jeremy Baum, Myles Mancuso, Chris Reddan
Blues, Jazz, and Rock (classic). Soul-Jazz
the Falcon
1348 Rte 9w
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Join us for some tasty soul-jazz and brunch at the Falcon in Marlboro!! Jb (Hammond Organ) toured for over 6 years with Grammy nominated singer Shemekia Copeland.

With Chris Reddan on drums and Myles Mancuso on guitar/vocals.

Both traditional and trailblazing...Highly recommended. ***Blues Review Magazine***

Baum's playing has a deep funk to it, with a big influence of Jimmy Smith. And Baum also brings in all kinds of other things as well - dissonant jazz, alternative rock, R&B. He's not too far off from what John Medeski does with Medeski, Martin and Wood, but with more of a blues streak to it. ***Jim Trageser. Escondido, Calif. ***

In the past 5 years, we've met many talented musicians and singers. This year was no exception. Tonight, we present an interesting and diverse line-up as we celebrate the art of original music.

We first met Sam Hurwitz (Amplifier on Fire) at a Kids' Open Mic. We were immediately hooked. Sam's a 9-year-old songwriter. His brother Harrison is on drums.

Ryder Stuart & Kevin Myers are two extremely talented musicians who have a unique song list and entertaining stage presence.

Jess Erick has a voice that stops a room. A wonderful vocalist and songwriter, Jess runs our once-monthly Open Mic Nights.

Addie Brownlee is fun, funny and an innately talented songwriter. One of our new favorites.

Kristina Koller is a jazz/pop vocalist & Mark McIntyre an amazing young guitarist. They make "beautiful music together".

Join us tonight in at the last day's celebration of our 5th Anniversary Weekend. Here's to many more years of great music!

Selden is "Dangerous" Danny Anderson on drums and vocals, Terrible Terry "Blueberry Shortstack" Terrance on bass and vocals, Peetey H. on electric guitar and vocals.

From an early age, the men in Selden have been living on a steady diet of rock and roll. Whether listening to the Rolling Stones with family on Saturday nights or blasting AC/DC on a boombox at the playground, they have been rocking their entire lives. When classic rock ruled in the 70's and 80's, the members of Selden have always had its hard pounding rhythm pulsing through their veins. A primal need to release this energy coupled with a passion to accurately portray the masterworks of the genre has set Selden out on a mission.

Selden delivers meticulously constructed covers that make you feel as if you were witnessing the originals. Never again will you go back to run of the mill cover bands who infest our rock and roll landscape. Become a Believer. Discover the truth that is smokin' rock and roll.
