Since his creation by Morgan Taylor in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon, acclaimed by The New York Times, as "A cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss." Entertainment Weekly praised "…The most infectious original songs. It’s like tapping into some pleasure center in the brain- both adult and kid…absurdly appealing. Grade: A." New York Magazine named Morgan Taylor "Best Kids’ Performer" in a recent "Best of New York" issue. "Mint Green Bee" from Gustafer Yellowgold’s Wide Wild World was a Grand Prize Winner in the Children’s Category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Gustafer himself is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun and is living out an explorer’s life in a slightly psychedelic version of the Minnesota woods. As a guitarist in the musicals Hair and Godspell, he met and inspired the now world-famous keyboard player, Paul Shaffer, who became Tisziji’s primary accompanist from 1970 to 1972,and recalls: “Tisziji’s music is of a unique, other-worldly nature…I have [since] played with all the great guitar players, from Eric Clapton to Van Halen to Santana to Jeff Beck, and nobody plays guitar the way Tisziji Munoz does. He is very spiritual, and as a guitar player he swings wild.” John Medeski, of the genre-defying trio Medeski Martin & Wood, has garnered fans across the musical spectrum. Medeski’s recording credits include John Zorn, Iggy Pop, T Bone Burnett, Ray Lamontagne, Dan The Automator and k.d. Lang. Medeski has produced The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, pedal steel guitar group The Campbell Brothers, and two records from The Wood Brothers.

Two of the area's most well-loved singers and band leaders together again!

Andrew Bordeaux (The Drew Bordeaux Group, Reservoir Pogs) is a singer/songwriter and an accomplished guitarist, violinist and performer. NY music reviewer Kevin Johnston wrote this about Drew: "His guitar work is the real deal... A lot of players have forgotten what the rock solo is for, but Drew knows and he uses it to take the music to a new level. And just to make sure you stay interested, he switches to electric violin."

We're excited to present these two talented musicians; two of our favorites on one stage! Amazing vocals and great musicianship.

The duo will be performing Stones, Pretenders, Carly Simon, Sheryl Crow & more.
