Deborah Fisher Palmarini is a mom of 5 sons and multi-faceted Sullivan County artist who has been writing songs and creating art since she was 7 years old.
Her claim to fame includes having over 100 songs copyrighted with the Library of Congress, touring with her bands around the US and releasing two albums (so far.) Her passion for blues is clear as her sultry sometimes raw always electrically charged voice pulls you in and rocks your soul. Deborah has been a regular guest performer with the T Blues Band at Terra Blues on Bleeker Street, in NY City, donates time and talent doing ministries at prisons and Drug Rehabilitation Centers, while recording her third CD, creating doodle art and keeping her day job working as an aid in a Catholic School.

The audience submits titles of "songs that have never been written". In a fictional "backer's audition", these titles inspire improvised songs in act one. In act two, the audience's favorite song serves as the basis of an entire (45 minute) Broadway musical, complete with costumes and set.

 The Warp/The Weft is a new musical collective, formed and fronted by Poughkeepsie singer-songwriter Shane Murphy. A progressive, alt-folk outfit, The Warp/The Weft pays evident homage to Jethro Tull, Tim/Jeff Buckley, Fairport Convention, while remaining wholly unique and compelling for its modern audience. The music is a part, a product--of reverence for--the natural landscape, but is rooted, too, in the culture of urban life and urban decay. Former DownBeat editor and Tim Buckley guitarist Lee Underwood has lauded Murphy for "a voice at once strong and ethereal; lyrics insightful and impassioned; music beautiful and uplifting." Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band is back to entertain us with their incredible talent and musicianship. This world-class 18-piece Big Band features a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and world-class drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and more.
Bedford Chamber Concerts continues its season highlighting young, international stars with guest clarinetist, Israeli, Moran Katz. Ms. Katz will join renowned musician Anthony Newman, and the Bedford Chamber Ensemble in an evening of masterpieces by Mozart and Beethoven.
Thanks to Kurt Henry & Cheryl Lambert, the beat goes on at this music friendly cafe. The 'new' place is really lovely.
