 Trout's sixth recording for Provogue Records is his first pure blues album in 23 years as a bandleader, which is astounding given his heavy resume in the genre.  12 Grapes loves nothing more than original artists who use their creativity and talent to express themselves through music. Our "Unplugged Sundays" are dedicated to such musicians.
We came upon this young band, Harmonium, at an Acoustic Open Mic. The sound they produce is mesmerizing. To describe their music as "unique" is an understatement. Harmonium is a World-fusion band that incorporates very different styles of playing into one unique entity. The use of various instruments from around the world allows the band to create sounds that "free your mind and spirit, as well as spring your body into action."
Harmonium is a Yorktown-based band, featuring Mark McIntyre on guitar, Joe Schultz on didgeridoo (an Australian wind pipe) and hang (a cylindrical steel drum), and Mike Cesario on percussion.
The band just finished their first CD. If you love great listening music... creative, original music... tonight's your night.

JP has been on the Blues music scene for years, and is a tremendously talented front-man, vocalist and songwriter. He plays Blues harp and alto sax, and always performs with passion and energy. His audiences feel it... and love it. His original songs are full of wit and charm. Songs like "Simple Request (Stop Breaking My Balls)" and "Shy of Indigo" showcase his talents as a funky Blues musician who's taking his art to the next level.
Every installment of "Sessions" is unique, as JP often invites different musicians to sit in and perform. Nights with JP and his band are always super-fun!

 With his distinct bass tone, Christopher Brown has pleased audiences for more than two decades with his repertoire of musical stories. Chris' special view of the world is portrayed honestly and humorously through his innovative, story-telling lyric, enlivened by a unique blend of folk, country and rock & roll. Chris calls his new album "Characterist". That's because he is not only a singer/songwriter, but an artist/illustrator who can capture a subject's essence through caricature. With a few strokes, he reveals hints of a character's nature or temperament, their mystery or charm. He does the same thing with lyric and melody, outlining and shading characters and moments, even yearnings and states of mind. His deep rumble of a voice can be as direct as an approaching train, yet warm and forgiving.

 Pat O'Shea has the kind of musical pedigree many musicians only dream of having. He's worked with some of the biggest stars on the Blues scene including Hubert Sumlin and Joe Louis Walker, plus six years as guitarist for the legendary Levon Helm.
And yet, O'Shea says of The Honest Men, "They're some of the best players I know... the best band I've ever been in." Now that's saying something.
The Honest Men are: Chris Burke on Hammond organ/piano/accordion, Mike Severino on drums/percussion, Evan "Eli" Wagner on acoustic & electric bass, Will Van Sise on guitars/pedal steel/vocals and Pat O'Shea on guitars/ vocals/ mandolin.

 The SUNDOWN Band has been performing their brand of Southern Rock since 1976. Every time the band's been reviewed, the response is the same: "You will be hard pressed to find another band that performs with the talent, passion, and intensity that these guys bring to the stage every night." (WPDH 101.5 FM).
From the beginning, SUNDOWN played all the legendary Westchester clubs like the Fore 'n Aft, Bottom's Up and The Beachmont, as well as NYC clubs like Lone Star Cafe. Many of the band's life-long fans now bring their teenage kids to experience the band's classic style; unique renditions of Southern Rock classics from bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker, Molly Hatchet and more. They don't just cover the songs, they play them with heart. The highlight of their shows are the duel guitar talents of Ronnie Pauls and Steve Mitchell, which leaves audiences in awe. We can't wait.

Myles is a 16 yr old, multi-instrumentalist prodigy playing a unique blend of Rockin' Rhythm & Soul. His performances include songs from Ray Charles, James Brown, Wilson Pickett, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Myles' own Originals and many more. He recently opened for Buddy Guy at the Ridgefield Playhouse and he's played at some of the top venues in New York City; BB Kings & the Iridum Jazz Club in Times Square, The Cutting Room, Tera Blues, The Red Lion, South Street Seaport, Madison Square Garden (Knick's Half-Time Show) and many others throughout the Tri State area.
