| In addition to leading his own groups Erik Lawrence has been a sideman with greats from Allen Toussaint to Sonny Sharrock. Erik is currently a member of Levon Helm's band, with whom he was recently featured on the Grammy winning album Electric Dirt. He has performed Solo improvised saxophone at Carnegie Recital Hall in New York. Erik has been featured at music festivals around the world and has performed with Chico Hamilton, Medeski Martin & Wood, Aaron Neville, Bob Dylan, Buddy Miles, David Bromberg, Bruce Hornsby and many, many others. Erik's teaching includes Williams College, Dartmouth College and Montclair State University. He has been playing the saxophone since he was 5 years old. |

Spost (guitar, backing vocals) and Dan Landa (primary vocals). The two often perform their music and comedy at festivals, cafes and open mics across Dutchess County, and in parts of Ulster County and other surrounding areas.
Their original songs are mostly sentimental and comical, and are rooted in musical theatre. They often incorporate themes of perseverance,
family, and identity into their lyrics. Steven and Dan have been influenced heavily by the genres of rock, pop, country and even some classical.

| While the Chris O'Leary Band's music is rooted in the blues, you can hear shades of New Orleans, rockabilly and more in their big, high-energy sound. Their music is the fruit of many years on the road, with many nights absorbing the great blues, R&B, and and rock'n'roll that graced so many stages across the country. Several years ago, Levon Helm was turned on to Chris O'Leary's blues harp playing through a mutual friend, which led to Levon joining in on some of Chris's early recording sessions, and then sitting in on his band's regular gigs. Soon, Levon asked Chris and his compadres to join the house band at his new club in New Orleans. Chris quickly relocated to New Orleans, where he spent the better part of a year at the club as a focal point of Levon Helm's Barn Burners, backing up touring stars and opening for New Orleans' finest players. |

Putting their original Brooklyn stamp on the classic afrobeat style, Underground System Afrobeat is a huge band with a huge sound. 4 horns and 7 rhythm players armed and ready to whip any space into a massive dance party. The ensemble was formed in early 2010 as the brainchild of guitarist Peter Matson, who fell in love with the music and story of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti while playing in a group directed by members of the seminal Afrobeat group Antibalas.

Ed Palermo is not a “business as usual” musician. After all, when most people think of “big bands” they think of Duke and Dorsey. But go to see Ed Palermo’s Big Band and you might hear Zappa, Hendrix, the blues of Paul Butterfield & Mike Bloomfield or one of Ed’s own compositions, loaded with lush turns and unexpected twists. Gil Evans wonderfully articulated Palermo’s unusual approach to traditional instrumentation:
“I first heard Ed Palermo’s music in a small club in the SoHo section of Manhattan. He was using the instrumentation of a traditional big band yet his arrangements and songs were anything but that. When I thought the music was going a certain direction, it would suddenly turn a corner. Ed has the ability to keep that important balance between cohesiveness and unpredictability. Ed Palermo’s music is alive and represents now.”

 An innovative musician and composer with a creative approach and virtuosic technique, Chad McLoughlin has received honors such as New York State's Best Guitarist and the Capital District's Best Guitarist.
Chad has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists including David Kikoski, Bob Francesini, Ruben Rodriguez, Mike Stern, Joel Rosenblatt, Carlo DeRosa, Richie Cannata, Chrisy Poland, Little Anthony, David Sancious, Manolo Badrena, David Torn, Ricky Nelson, Bo Diddley and many others. In 2009, he jointed the Mahavishnu Project which plays the music of John McLoughlin. Currently, he appears regularly with his trio, which includes drummer Thierry Arpino (Jean Luc Ponty) and bassist Dave Anderson ( Bill Evans ).
Chad has an extensive list of CD/album credits that represent a diversity of styles and genres. His trio is working on a new CD of exciting original music that is due to be released this year.

| Award winning guitarist, Gene Ess, draws upon a diverse background to form his unique style. Considered a child prodigy by fellow musicians and instructors, Ess performed in clubs and festivals all around Okinawa at the early age of 14. Over his career, Gene has performed and recorded with many wonderful musicians. Some are Dave Liebman, Al Foster, Rashied Ali, Harvie S, Slide Hampton, Carlos Santana, Archie Shepp, Reggie Workman, Tigran Hamasyan, and Ravi Coltrane.
Nicki Parrott is an internationally acclaimed vocalist and bassist Nicki has also performed at most of the world’s major jazz festivals. In the United States she’s appeared at the Newport Jazz Festival (2005), the Litchfield Jazz festival (2005), the Jazz in July concert series at the 92nd street Y (2003, 2004), the Detroit Jazz Festival (2005) and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival (2001).
Marc Von Em is a soulfully energized singer/songwriter whose sound flows easily between blues, folk, funk, jazz & classical. |

 Native Soul is a band that brings together the separate-but-equal talents of four very talented artists.
The dynamic drummer Steve Johns has performed and recorded with artists such as Sonny Fortune, Jimmy Heath, Randy Brecker, StanleyTurrentine, Gary Bartz, Gary Smulyan and Dr. Billy Taylor.
Bass virtuoso Marcus McLaurine has shared the stage with Kenny Burell, James Moody, Lou Donaldson, Clark Terry, Cleo Laine, Abbey Lincoln, Hank Jones, and the Count Basie Orchestra.
At home in the jazz and afro-carribbean jazz worlds, the brilliant saxophonist Peter Brainin has performed and recorded with Hilton Ruiz, Bobby Watson, Randy Weston, Chico O'Farrill, Joey Calderazzo, and grammy winner Arturo O'farrill's Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra.
One of NY's leading young pianists, Noah Haidu has played with Winard Harper, Duane Eubanks, Jon Irabagon, Essiet Essiet, Ken Fowser and Behn Gellice.
The main constant is the musicianship and complete respect for each other's talent.
