 Welcome to our once-monthly presentation of Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band, an incredible, world-class 18-piece Big Band featuring a full horn section with 5 sax's, 4 trombones, 4 trumpets, and world-class drummer and bandleader Greg Westhoff. You'll never hear anything like it in a small venue anywhere in Westchester! The band performs classic Swing music, Sinatra, Broadway selections and songs from the '40's, '50's and beyond.
Greg has been playing drums for over 50 years. He has performed on the Tonight Show and others. Greg was the drummer with Walter Murphy and the Big Apple Band, who's popular disco-era hit was " A Fifth of Beethoven". He has recorded on "The Saturday Night Fever" Album and has done jingles, Broadway Shows, and TV movies. Greg is currently working on the popular TV shows Family Guy, American Dad, and Cleveland. His Big Band has been together for 12 years, performing all over the tri -state area.

The RCC is open to all residents of the Hudson Valley. All music-skill levels, from none to professional, may join. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, September through May, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The group presents two major programs each year: a holiday concert in December and a spring concert in May, and several small-ensemble programs at various locations. Singers may participate in one season or both, and pay $30 per season to participate. Music runs the gamut from Broadway favorites to classical pieces, pop tunes to novelty songs, and even specially commissioned works. For the upcoming Winter concert, the Club will reprise audience and member favorites from the past decade. They can be heard online at www.rhinebeckchoralclub.org.

Jon is a 5-time Grammy nominated producer, multi-talented singer, songwriter and keyboard player (and all-around great guy!) Jon's bio reads like the Who's Who of the music industry, having recorded and produced with many music industry greats such as John Lennon, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Chapin, Harry Chapin, Pete Seeger, Judy Collins, Chubby Checker, Al Green... the list goes on and on. Last year, Jon performed with the original "Quarrymen" in celebration of John Lennon's 70th Birthday.  Daniel Lippel is an active classical guitar soloist and recording artist, as well as a collaborator in ensemble settings in various different styles. He received his doctoral degree after studying with David Starobin at the Manhattan School of Music. As a chamber musician, Lippel has performed at the Macau International Music Festival in China, the Musica Nova Festival in Finland, the Darmstadt Festival of New Music in Germany, and Lincoln Center’s Mostly Mozart Festival at Alice Tully Hall. The young and much-lauded guitarist is not only a master of Bach’s music for guitar, he is also in demand as a regular member of the critically acclaimed International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) and indie rock-global music collective Mice Parade. His program mixes classical works by Bach and Schubert with music by contemporary composers, as well as his own indie influenced compositions for amplified guitar and effects pedals.

 Keyboardist Dave Keyes has been on the Blues scene for over 20 years, performing with some of the most important figures in Blues, Roots and Folk music like Popa Chubby, Larry Campbell (Levon Helm, Bob Dylan), Gladys Knight and the late, great Lou Rawls. Dave won the Blues Foundation's International Blues Competition and appears at Blues Festivals throughout the world. For 6 years, he was conductor for the Broadway hit "Smokey Joe's Cafe" and is a featured performer on their Grammy-winning soundtrack album.
Dave's newest CD "Roots in the Blues" ranges from "rollicking boogie" to soulful R&B, Zydeco, Country Blues and some solo Gospel piano thrown in for good measure. It's been receiving critical acclaim from pubs like The Village Voice, Living Blues and Downbeat (3 1/2 stars).

Krista Bennion Feeney and Owen Dalby (violins), David Cerutti (viola), John Feeney (bass), and R.J. Kelley and Alexandra Cook (natural horns) perform the music of Vienna, including pieces by Haydn and Mozart, and Naples, with a few detours to Hungary and stops in Venice and Rome.
