Richie Goods is a master musician whose tenure with many of music's greatest names clearly as worn off on him as a leader-his candor to the audience, his approach in developing a set list, and most of all his bass playing are all top of the line...If you get the chance to catch this group do yourself a favor and do so.~Christopher Lams, Jazz Improv NY

Essential listening for advocates of electric-jazz.~ Glenn Astarita, jazzreview.com

When separate components come together to make a powerful reaction, a bigger reaction than that made by their individual parts, you have witnessed the principle of fusion-Richie Goods and Nuclear Fusion are the embodiment of that principle in action.

Richie Goods is the youngest musician ever to be inducted into the Pittsburgh Music Hall of Fame. Making history for Black History Month.

In life I bend the truth to be nice, get along with people and fit into society. In music I write about all of the things I would never say in the moment; then I sing about them in public. I am based in New Jersey and play solo and with a band. My songs have fine, often ironic stories behind them, and I share them all. I encourage my audience to be involved in my shows, and will often invite an audience member on stage to play my porch bass or porch board. My strongest influences are the Pretenders, Joni Mitchell, Lucy Kaplansky, Liz Phair and U2. I play regularly at Crossroads in Garwood NJ, Rockin Joes in Westfield NJ, and various venues in NYC including The National Underground. I recently opened for Pat Dinizio of The Smithereens at Crossroads in NJ and performed as a part of the WFMU Seven Second Delay show during their record breaking 60 artists in 60 minutes at The Upright Citizen's Brigade in NYC.
