Kenny White is one of the most sought after producers/composers/pianists in NYC. He's written and arranged literally hundreds of national TV and radio commercials, working with Linda Ronstadt, Dwight Yoakam, Gladys Knight, Aaron Neville, Ricky Skaggs, Kathy Mattea and others on tunes indelibly printed in your mind. He has also scored and written songs for many indie and major studio films. His production of Shawn Colvin's I Don't Know Why, from Fat City, helped earn her a Grammy nomination. Amid all his success, Kenny woke up one morning and realized that his real passion may have eluded him ...up to that point. He took his collection of well crafted, insightful & very musical compositions, assembled a group of A-List players and recorded Uninvited Guest, then hit the road with some of his very talented pals. This worked so well and to everyone's delight (including our own), that we're sure you'll be delighted too! More info at the Towne Crier Cafe

I’m a 22-year-old musician who just graduated from college this past May. I am both a passionate environmentalist and cynic. I love comfortable clothing, high fives, cool hats, good beer, good people, and I am terribly addicted to fantasy baseball. I have been writing music for about six years, and studying voice for about the same. I’ve proudly played in a Mariachi band, performed in an a capella group, and crooned for a sixteen piece big band. I’m pretty sure that I am a better singer than guitarist.

Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus Of Dreams has been variously described as "alt-country/ roots-rock," "folk-pop," "hillbilly-Floyd," and "surreal Americana" – a clear indicator of its singularly indescribable uniqueness. At the same time, their sound and even their songs feel so familiar, so classic, it's as if you've been listening to these characters all your life. The "Circus Of Dreams" has won critical acclaim as well as a fiercely loyal following. They've been Hudson Valley Magazine's "Band of the Year" for the past 3 years. The Circus' shows are notoriously UN-staged – which is part of the fun, and keeps their shows refreshingly real. However, while they don't take themselves too seriously, it's evident that they do take their jobs as music-makers very seriously. Death-defying feats aside, Gandalf Murphy And The Circus Of Dreams brings you a show of precision, high-flying magic sure to delight one and all! More info at the Towne Crier Cafe

Inspired by blues legends like T-Bone Walker, Charlie Patton and Big Joe Turner, Duke Robillard's guitar work has seamlessly spanned the worlds of jazz, blues and swing since he founded the renowned big band, Roomful of Blues, in 1967. Since 1980, Duke has recorded 20 acclaimed solo albums and toured the world both with his own band and also as Jimmie Vaughan's replacement in The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Most recently, Duke played guitar and toured with music legend Tom Waits. In addition to his own recordings, Duke has played on and/or produced albums by Bob Dylan (1997's Grammy-winning Time Out of Mind), Ruth Brown, Johnny Adams, Kim Wilson, Jay McShann, Pinetop Perkins, John Hammond, Jimmy Witherspoon, Rosco Gordon, Billy Boy Arnold, Snooky Pryor and many more. Called "one of the great players" by the legendary B.B. King, Duke's upbeat live performance, accented by a swinging horn section, is a tasteful display of a wide variety of blues styles.
