Marc has also shared bills with such artists as Lucy Kaplansky, Martin Sexton, Richie Havens, Glenn Tillbrook and others. His second studio recording, entitled "Free", has sold more than 6,000 copies. Marc has been described as "soulful, funky, sometimes bluesy, sometimes haunting, always sincere."  Gregg Bendian formed Collective Language, a band with some of New York's most incredible jazz musicians - Jon Irabagon on saxophone (2008 Thelonius Monk Award winner), Zach Brock on violin (Mahavishnu Project/Stanley Clarke Band) and Peter Brendler (John Abercrombie Band) on acoustic bass. The group gives tribute to the great jazz innovator Rashied Ali and features music from the classic Coltrane/Ali duets "Interstellar Space" as well as other music from Coltrane's later period.
Bendian currently leads the fusion ensembles INTERZONE, THE MAHAVISHNU PROJECT (who performed at MoogFest 2006 with original Mahavishnu Orchestra keyboard master, Jan Hammer and have recently expanded their repertoire to include the solo music of John McLaughlin), and his acoustic jazz group, TRIO PIANISSIMO. Gregg is currently appearing as drummer/background vocalist of the Genesis repertory ensemble, THE MUSICAL BOX.

 A UK music tradition, the first annual Truck America Festival is coming to the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY Friday, April 30- Sunday, May 2. The festival promotes music, community, and the environment as well as featuring some of the finest independent musicians from the Hudson Valley, North America, and the UK. On May 1st, Peekskill's 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo celebration will be packed with free entertainment including live music, piñata treats, prizes, games for the kids, dancing and great food. 12 Grapes and the other restaurants on N. Division will offer outdoor dining, and our dining room will be open as well.
Festivities begin at 1:00 and continue til 9pm with live performances including Mariachi and Mexican bands, Ballet Folklórico and more. The celebration will be located at the intersection of Central Avenue and North Division Street near the Gazebo. Our street will be closed to traffic, and you can find free parking at all the parking lots.

 Blues harp player/vocalist Chris O'Leary and his band really impressed us with their debut appearance here at the Towne Crier Cafe. O'Leary's musical background includes duties as lead singer and front man for Levon Helm and The Barnburners. During the 7 years that Chris and Levon played together, they toured across the US – lighting up stages everywhere they went. Chris has also appeared on stage with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Jimmy Vivino, Albert Lee and Dave Edmunds. O'Leary's band also includes Chris Vitarello on guitar (Dennis Gruenling, Arlen Roth, etc); Sean McCarthy on drums (Sidetracked Blues Jam, Little Sammy Davis, etc), and Fankie Ingrao on bass (Levon Helm, Hubert Sumlin, etc).
