He attended summer band camps at Eastman and SUNY Fredonia and participated in the Infinity Performing Arts Program. He earned high marks on level VI pieces at NYSSMA solo festivals in Classical and Jazz styles for trumpet. At SUNY New Paltz, Vince is currently pursuing a dual music degree in Jazz Trumpet Performance and Theory & Composition. Band members have performed with The Temptations, The Fifth Dimension, The Tonight Show Orchestra, Al Green, Jackson Browne, Larry Harlow, and Bruce Springsteen. The singers are Broadway, B.B. King's and Apollo Theater veterans. Steve Wexler has arranged for Broadway, off-Broadway and television, and has won numerous awards. With a voice that has been likened to Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, the late Eva Cassidy, and even Shawn Colvin-meets-Ani DiFranco, Marji Zintz is a solo vocalist/arranger/acoustic guitarist who has performed and recorded as a soloist and in duet settings in the jazz and folk genres with various bassists (i.e., Mike Richmond, Jay Anderson, Steve Roane, Josef Pelletier) and in larger ensembles. Marji has also worked in collaboration with improvisational vocalists in a mostly a capella recording and performance project called Sister Sound and currently is also currently one third of the trio GaiaWolf, performing original "music for the planet."

Kairos: A Consort of Singers will present J. S. Bach's Easter Cantata No. 4, "Christ lag in Todesbanden" (Christ lay in death's bonds) under the direction of Dr. Edward Lundergan. The concert will also feature Bach's exuberant choral work, "Sanctus in D Major", BWV 238; a movement from the Easter portion of Messiah by George Frideric Handel, "Since by Man Came Death"; and the Gigue from Bach's "Cello Suite in G Major" featuring cellist Susan Seligman. The cantata and other works are accompanied by chamber orchestra and will be performed as part of a choral evensong service.

The performance is part of an ongoing Bach Cantata series presented by Kairos at Holy Cross Monastery and is the second in the 2010 Bach Cantata Series, now in its fifth year. The Bach Cantata Series is funded entirely by member contributions and free-will donations at the cantata performances.
