The annual Frozendale Holiday Festival will be held on Main Street, Rosendale on Saturday, December 5th. The day will start with a performance by Dog on Fleas at the Rosendale Theatre at 11:00 am and will end with an illuminate ceremony (with cookies and song) at the Rosendale Library. In between, there are hay rides, kids’ activities, vendors, goodie giveaways, a free puppet show ("The Toad’s Revenge") at the Redwing Blackbird Theatre, Billy Manas will be performing at 4pm. and a free showing of "Polar Express" at the Rosendale Theatre.
Sonic Circus will be playing the Sullivan CO's annual holiday party this Saturday at the Elk's Lodge in Liberty NY. It's always a good time when we get together with good friends to party!!
Comfort foods, coffees, teas, smoothies, desserts, and great music! Life is good. Maybe a special guest? Who knows?
Open mic for singers, songwriters and players of all kinds. Studio Two is an open, singer/player-friendly 2nd-floor loft space with great acoustics. You can perform plugged or unplugged. A sound system is provided. A $5 donation is is requested. Food and beverage are provided. 
Internationally acclaimed composer, arranger, producer and accomplished multi-instrumentalist Premik Russell Tubbs returns to the BeanRunner Café with Premik & Friends. Premik, who has worked with an impressive list of music greats including Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, Jackson Brown and others, will perform with the talented composer/pianist, J. Eric Johnson, on acoustic bass, Nathan Peck, and the accomplished percussionist/drummer/ teacher/ author, Todd Isler. Admission: $10 pp. Seating is limited and guests are suggested to arrive by 7:30pm. For reservations, suggested but not required, call 914-737-1701.
The annual Woodstock-based PHIL OCHS BIRTHDAY FEST celebrates the protest singer's music and activism. Held at the historic Colony Cafe, the music will include many of Ochs' best known and lesser known songs and poetry. There will also be a staged reading of Ochs' testimony on behalf of the Chicago 8 during that 1968 trial--theatre of the absurd without even trying! 
With great harmonies, lots of variety, and excellent playing, this is a very entertaining group. Elly Wininger: Guitar, slide guitar, vocals; Peggy Atwood: Guitar, percussion, vocals; and Terri Massardo: Bass, percussion, vocals.

You can't help but get up and dance to this band!!! Jerry and the "Brothers" are one of the tightest, coolest, funky-est, baddest bands around. Whatever you do, do not miss this performance. Jerry's an accomplished singer, songwriter and bass player, influenced by the Blues and Country Music. His entree into the NYC Blues scene was by way of the now infamous Dan Lynch Blues Bar, running the Saturday afternoon jam session there. This little bar became the hub of the Blues scene in NYC. Jerry calls his time there "an education that could not be replicated." His band is comprised of a lighting-fast guitarist, killer drummer and a keyboard player who also wails on the sax.

They say she "has a voice like Jewel with a touch of Jazz." Cassandrea Frake's songwriting is creative, touching and uniquely original. Influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell, John Mayer and Nora Jones. Her song, "Like the Breeze," is a folksy, jazzy, love-tribute. The love theme runs deep in her music and even inspired her to start playing guitar. In her interview on lohud.com's The Listening Room, Cassandra said she began writing music "...to impress somebody--one of the guys I had a crush on--but that guy fell through, and the music lasted." We're glad it did. 
The Westchester Swing Band is back again... 12 Grapes is normally closed on Mondays, but on the 2nd Monday of every month we open at 6:00 for dinner and feature this incredible musical experience that has to be seen (and heard) to be believed. First-time patrons are blown away by the sound and songs of this 18-piece orchestra. Classic Swing music, wonderful vocals, full horn section and world-class musicians. 
There will be a silent auction with some incredible items available. Eric is proud to be a part of this important event.
Rosendale Cafe Singer-Songwriter Tuesdays
Greg's an accomplished guitarist, singer/songwriter and storyteller with a loyal following at popular music venues in NYC. His sets at times "seem more like a comedy show", but his vocals are delivered with deep emotion. Greg played to thousands of people during the 25th anniversary of Woodstock, and has shared the mic with Carol King and Davey Jones, and opened for Don McLean and Tracy Chapman. Join us as we welcome Greg back to our stage.
An entertaining evening is assured.

One of the most versatile musicians around, Petey Hop is equally at home playing down home Blues, Folk, Country, Rockabilly as he is jamming out with blistering Rock and Roll. Be it Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Beatles, The Stones, or many other classic rock artists, Pete captures the essence of the original, but still makes it his own. Tonight Petey is joined by Mani & Mishti performing covers as well as their own original tunes. 
This is not Hindustani Classical music but rather a light evening of Holiday/Seasonal Christian and Hindu Hymns, Bajans, and songs.
The Hindustani Slide guitar has a variety of sympathetic strings and is capable of a wide variety of expressive tones.
Tony Jefferson has performed and recorded with many jazz artists including: Kenny Drew, Jr., Frank Wess, Eddie Harris, Don Friedman, Cyrus Chestnut, Mark Whitfield, Jerry Bergonzi, Joey Calderazzo, Jack Wilkins, Freddie Cole, Lonnie Smith, Lou Donaldson and others. He has appeared at jazz festivals around the world and is an active player on the New York scene. He has been a guest clinician in high school and college workshops and has taught Master classes nationally and abroad.
Friends Of Morton presents a special concert to benefit Morton Library, featuring Boston based Acoustic Singer/Songwriter Chris Trapper. Chris brings his special brand of witty and heartfelt songs to Morton Hall in the quaint hamlet of Rhinecliff.

Blue Coyote will be appearing at The Basement in Kingston, NY as part of the Dusty Spokes 2nd Annual Toy Drive event. Other bands include The Blind Ambassadors, White Knuckle Rodeo and Concrete Sneakers. Bring a toy and come out for a great rock show!
One of the Hudson Valley's finest bands are back by popular demand performing country, folk rock, Americana.The Woodcocks (Jason Casterlin, Joe DiBisceglie, Scott Stevens, and Ian Pietragallo) formed in January 2007 and have since become a staple of the thriving Hudson Valley, New York live music scene. Their original and infectious sound has headlined the historic “The Chance Theater” in Poughkeepsie New York. Their diverse style has enabled them to open for a few Major Label acts such as opening for the “Blue Oyster Cult” at the Newburgh Waterfront Music Festival .

The Autumn Café has been serving great food and providing quality entertainment in downtown Oneonta, New York since 1980. Located in an early 20th century building with high tin ceilings, the Autumn has become a focal point for much of the surrounding community.
