Kairos: A Consort of Singers, under the direction of Dr. Edward Lundergan, continues its 15th anniversary celebration with a concert entitled “More of Our Favorite Things: French Edition”. The concert will feature a program of mostly French a cappella works by Perotin (Viderunt omnes), Palestrina (motets), Josquin (Missa Ave Maris Stella), Claude Debussy (Trois chansons), Francis Poulenc (Sept chansons), and a fun and spirited collection of French Renaissance chansons. As an added treat, a set of German part-songs by Brahms, Mendelssohn and Franz rounds out the program. Come join Kairos for a delightful afternoon of beautiful choral music! A reception will follow the concert will feature desserts by Something Sweet Dessert Cafe in Middletown. Admission is $12 for the general public, $10 for students and seniors.
