Guitarist Chris Dentato formed EVERYMAN in the 1970's with his brother and co-founder, Bill The band played hundreds of gigs at pubs, clubs, colleges, high schools, outside festivals and on radio shows until their official breakup in early 1980. They reunited briefly later in the mid- 80's for a T.J. Martell Benefit mega -concert hosted by legendary N.Y. deejay, Pete Fornatale (WNEW, WFUV.).Then Bill retired.
Along with this band THE PHANTOM FLYERS, and a decade of performances under his belt, Chris began to write the songs for his newly released CD EP called PRELUDE TO PASSION, on Robin Hood Records. With the Phantom Flyers line-up in place, Chris is touring in support of the new CD. Fain, who grew up in the Fallsburg area, the composer of "I'll Be Seeing You in All the Old Familiar Places", "Love is a Many Splendored Thing", "Let a Smile be Your Umbrella, "Tender is the Night", the music for Calamity Jane, Anchors Aweigh, Disney's Peter Pan, Alice In Wonderland and many more, was nominated 10 times for an Academy Award for Best Song.

 Kairos: A Consort of Singers, under the direction of Dr. Edward Lundergan, will present the third in its 2009 Bach Cantata series with a performance of Cantata No. 37, Wer da gläubet und getauft wird (Whoever believes and is baptized) with chamber orchestra. The concert will also include an instrumental work by the Baroque master performed by violinist Frank Seligman. The concert is free to the public (free-will offering gratefully accepted). Rosendale Cafe Singer-Songwriter Tuesdays
Led by saxophonist and Mahopac High School Band Director Rich Williams, the Secret Organ Trio's sound is rooted in the great American tradition of Hammond organ based jazz groups. The group plays soul jazz, a groove-infused style of jazz that incorporates blues, gospel and rhythm & blues. The sound is reminiscent of the great organ trios of the 1960's with some modern and original elements thrown in as well. The result is a fun atmosphere that moves people makes everyone feel good.
We always look forward to the diversity, surprise and talent that accompanies one of Petey's Open Mics. We invite all talented artists come take the stage and enjoy one of the most talked about music venues in Westchester. Petey opens the evening with one of his versatile and creative acoustic sets. He's warm, charming and the perfect open mic host. 
This third and final Series date for Artist in Residence, "Nicola" pulls out all the stops as she welcomes Elza, whose songs have been featured on the WB hit series Smallville, CBS’s Clubhouse and several independent Films that are on the festival circuit today.
