Well figuratively speaking the Sugar Beats are going back to the garden, the Backyard Garden in Pine Plains, NY. This is a beautiful backyard garden atmosphere, yes it's outdoors, with tables, flora (flowers/plants) and night lights. Saturday 9:00 pm | MILTON, also special guest, JULIA JOSEPH Singer-Songwriter, Acoustic | Towne Crier Cafe 130 Route 22 Pawling, NY See Map |
Milton is a New York-based singer/songwriter and the leader of the Milton band, a lively, rootsy six-piece group. Milton's regular New York-based band is an international outfit that has come together over years of club gigs, and plays together like a family act. Already well known for his radio hit on New York City's WFUV, Milton released his second, self-titled CD to wide critical praise in November 2006. With the help of a busy live performance schedule and frequent airplay, Milton and the Milton Band have seen their audience increase rapidly in recent months. Spanning the genres of folk, jazz and blues, the real signature of JULIA JOSEPH's sound is her drop dead gorgeous voice - so moving it could almost overshadow the fact that she is a great songwriter. Her songs are universally accessible and she sings them in a way that makes each audience member feel as if they are the only person in the room with her. More info at the Towne Crier Cafe | ||
