John Arbo - Bass Instruction
Students of all levels are welcome. We can find your voice in any style on bass guitar (4,5,6 - string, fretted or fretless), and double bass: arco orchestral repertoire including NYSSMA preparation (I have had several students achieve All-State and area All-State), jazz improvisation and other styles.
I've been a professional performer on and teacher of bass for over 45 years. I was on the bass faculty at New School University in Manhattan for 25 years, am currently adjunct at SUNY Orange (10 years) and am the author of the eMedia Bass Method and eMedia Bass Guitar for Dummies.
There are issues that are common to many students but I'm also expert at tailoring lessons to your particular needs and desires.
