Brad Cole: A One-Man Show
Musical Theater, Acoustic, and Multi-genre original
Live@theUpstream
8 Main Street
Hastings-on-Hudson, NY   See Map
"Cole’s voice is a captivating, well-weathered croon, and he proves he can glide from genre to genre in the blink of an eye." - Elmore Magazine

The songs of Brad Cole address the ups and downs of the human condition with both wit and raw insight. His passionate and distinctive delivery of roots-based folk music, woven with the grit and groove of old school bossa and rhythm & blues moves the listener’s soul in a direction that is unexpected, yet perfectly familiar.

Brad will be performing selections from his upcoming project "Songs From The Moon", a collection of vignettes and songs that link together a painful, colorful and crazy ride for civilization as seen through the eyes of his unlikely hero, Cab, and his friends....full of reminders of how easily the rights we take for granted and the constellation of our history as a species can slip away. Following the performance, Brad will take questions from the audience.

Vance Gilbert
Folk/Traditional, Americana, and Acoustic
River Spirit Music, LLC
provided with ticket confirmation
Hastings-on-Hudson, NY   See Map
Like all great artists, Vance truly happens live. In fact, he developed his reputation with his jawdropping, diverse, funny, devastating, and gorgeous live performances. Arlo Guthrie, Anita Baker, the late George Carlin have all requested Vance to be added to their bills. Most recently he’s the opener of choice for Paul Reiser and The Subdudes.

Vance exploded onto the scene in the early ’90s, with buzz spreading quickly. Who was this multicultural arts teacher knocking them dead at open mics? After opening Shawn Colvin’s 1992 Fat City tour, he took much of America by storm and by surprise. “With the voice of an angel, the wit of a devil, and the guitar playing of a god, it was enough to earn him that rarity: an encore for an opener,” wrote the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in its review of a show from the Colvin tour.

Grace Morrison
Singer-Songwriter, Acoustic, and Folk/Traditional
Live@theUpstream
8 Main Street
Hastings-on-Hudson, NY   See Map
If folk, roots, and Americana were on a Venn diagram, Grace Morrison would be squarely in the center. With a career that began as a backup singer for rock icons like Eddie Money and Joey Molland (of the band Badfinger), Grace has become a regular on the national festival and touring circuit. She has won a number of prestigious awards including the Grand Prize of the New England Songwriting Competition and the WPRI Rhode Show Big Break contest where her music video was played on the season finale of American Idol. In 201, Grace was an Official Showcase performer at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance (TN), named a finalist in the Wildflower (TX) Festival performing singer-songwriter contest, and performed in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (NY). Her 2019 sophomore solo album “Reasons" debuted as the #2 Top Album on the Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Contemporary Country Airplay Chart.

David will be joined by some Grateful friends - Stay tuned for details

It’s not easy being a multi-hyphenate. But singer-songwriter-guitarist-radio producer/ host-author-journalist-record producer-photographer DAVID GANS at least makes it look like loads of fun. That he can juggle so many balls in the air is nothing short of astonishing; that he does it with such skill, passion, assurance, wit and grace is even more remarkable.

David is also known far and wide as the light behind the widely syndicated Grateful Dead Hour radio program, and co-host of SIRIUS XM’s Tales From the Golden Road, several books on the Dead and a number of intriguing CDs relating to the band and its music, David has in recent years blossomed into a compelling performer in his own right, touring nationally and releasing several albums.
