Let's start a really good band !
I'm tired of looking for a good, established band. I want to start a band with musicians who can play their instrument well and sing well. I'm a guitarist. I'm looking for a drummer, bass player and keyboardist who practice their instrument to become the best player they can be. If it weren't for our audiences, we wouldn't be playing out so we want to be the best for them as well as for each other. I want us to be a top notch dance band, copying the recordings, playing songs from the 50's through today's hits. We want to choose the most popular bands and their most familiar songs. We're going to strive for a groove so good that if our audiences don't get up to dance, there's something wrong with them. And when they get up to dance, we want to keep them dancing. This isn't going to be your average bar band. We're going to be so good that we'll get hired for parties, corporate events and county fairs. We will build a fan base so that venues will want to hire us.
