1970 Slingerland drum setI’m selling this set for my friends family. It’s a Slingerland drum set from around 1970-71. It consists of a 14x22 bass, 9x13 Tom and 16x16 floor tom. This is the Gene Krupa model set.
The drums are white marine Pearl finish which has aged to a light yellow after 50 years. There are no extra holes in any of the drums. The shells are the thin three ply maple poplar shells Slingerland made then with the maple reinforcement rings on top and bottom of each shell. Bass drum has four spurs two on each side and two cymbal mounts along with the Set O Matic tom holder which works well. The bass drum is missing the T rods on the batter but these can be found on Reverb or EBay or just use the regular tension rods it has. Floor tom has two Rogers wing nuts on the leg bracket and the third bracket is stripped which can be fixed or replaced . Come play them here in Accord or I can meet you in Kingston or New Paltz. Call with any questions or if you need more photos .Asking $625.
