 Guitarist Steve Wells' music is comprised mainly of Rock/Pop hits of the 1960's thru today, with a heavy dose of 70's and 80's. He plays a few different genres including some classic country and blues.
Steve has been well received in wineries, breweries, and restaurants/bars throughout our region and hasplayed over 2000 solo gigs, establishing a nice rapport with his audience.

Celebrated as one of America’s premier Motown tribute productions, Shadows of the 60s brings the unforgettable sound, style, and spirit of Motown to life with dazzling choreography, rich vocal harmonies, stunning costumes, and the timeless songs that became the soundtrack of generations.
This highly interactive and visually stunning production recreates the energy of a classic Motown concert, circa 1964. Backed by the rhythm and soul of The Shadows of the 60s orchestra, “The Funk Cousins,” the show captures the feel of the legendary musicians who powered the Motown sound. Close your eyes and you will hear the magic of Motown; open them and you will feel like you are experiencing a front-row seat to one of the greatest eras in music history.

 Liz Miller is a multi-genre, award-winning songwriter who located outside of Philadelphia to a little town no one can pronounce. Conshohocken. Peaceful Valley in Lenape Indian.
Compared with artists like Lucinda Williams, Brandi Carlisle and Ashley McBride, she moves with ease between folk, roots-rock, and singer-songwriter. Liz just finished her 5th solo record this year. Add a musical for new mothers called Baby Fantasy and a Vegas style jazz pop album and you get the idea of her range.
When not solo performing on piano, Liz can be seen doing guitar in a duo with Boaz Kim-a master of the harmonica. She has an acoustic band with Boaz and percussion by Steve Lessick and sibling BGVs with Jen Burgoyne.
She entertains with artfully crafted songs that range from the everyday to the profound, the humorous to the gut wrenching . The familiarity, depth, and variety of emotions in her material leave an impression that lingers long after the performance is over. |

 Ras Droppa is a passionate musician and consummate artist filled with energy and talent, poised to take on the world with his music.
Singing and playing the melodica in the streets of Jamaica as a child, Ras Droppa's early influences stemmed from his exposure to artists from his homeland, like Bob Marley, Aston "Family Man" Barrett, Garnet Silk, Sly Dunbar & Robbie Shakespeare and Roland Alphonso and the Skatalites.
He has toured worldwide and, with his custom Steinberger, has shared the stage with reggae artists such as Sugar Minott, Beres Hammond, The Congos, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Lucky Dube, Burning Spear, Aswad, Sly and Robbie, Jimmy Cliff, Yami Bolo, Dennis Brown, The Wailers, CCB Reggae All Stars, Leroy Sibbles, Junior Jazz, Anthony B, The Mighty Diamonds, Cocoa Tea, Half Pint and Sister Carol.

 The Dirty Dozen Brass Band brings the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans to Paramount Hudson Valley on November 13. Celebrating more than 45 years since their founding in 1977, the GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble has transformed the traditional foundation of brass band music into a vibrant blend of bebop jazz, funk, and R&B/soul. The band describes its signature sound as a “musical gumbo,” a fitting phrase for a group known for genre-bending romps and high-octane performances.
Born from the Dirty Dozen Social Aid and Pleasure Club in New Orleans, the band carries forward two rich Crescent City traditions: social aid and pleasure clubs and the brass bands that helped shape the earliest sounds of jazz. In those traditions, music could move from somber reflection to joyful celebration, with brass bands leading processions before bursting into jubilant dance tunes that filled the streets.

 The Donica-Barone-Jefferson Jazz Trio is a world-class New York jazz experience showcasing the chemistry between guitarist Jeff Barone, bassist Jim Donica, and drummer/vocalist Tony Jefferson. This dynamic trio delivers an evening of effortless swing, great grooves and brilliant improvisation.
Jim Donica is a bassist, composer, arranger, and bandleader who has played and recorded with internationally recognized jazz musicians such as Chita Rivera, Maynard Ferguson, George Garzone, David Becker and Peter Erskine, among others. His newest recording, with the Jim Donica Quintet, is Together Again - Live from Maureen's Jazz Cellar.
Guitarist Jeff Barone has performed in New York's major venues such as The Village Vanguard, Birdland, The Blue Note, Lincoln Center, Dizzy's Coca Cola.
Award-winning drummer and vocalist Tony Jefferson has collaborated with jazz legends and was praised by the New York Times for his smooth, lyrical vocals.

The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.
