Friday 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm | Molly Hatchet Rock (classic), Blues, and Gospel | Paramount Hudson Valley Theater 1008 Brown St Peekskill, NY See Map |
Southern rock legends Molly Hatchet bring their hard-hitting sound to Paramount Hudson Valley on October 23. Emerging from Jacksonville, Florida in the late seventies alongside iconic Southern rock bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet carved out a sound all their own — a powerful mix of English invasion rock, blues, country, and gospel.
The band exploded onto the scene with their 1978 self-titled debut album, which reached multi-platinum status and established their reputation for working hard, playing tough, and living fast. Their 1979 follow-up, Flirtin’ with Disaster, also achieved multi-platinum status and helped launch the band into the stratosphere, with Molly Hatchet performing hundreds of shows a year and sharing the road with Aerosmith, Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones, and many others More than forty years later, Molly Hatchet continues to keep the music alive with worldwide touring and classic hits.
