Two legendary founders of The Rascals are together again as Felix Cavaliere and Gene Cornish bring their celebrated 60th Anniversary Tour to Paramount Hudson Valley on October 16. Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Grammy Hall of Fame, Vocal Group Hall of Fame, and Songwriters Hall of Fame, The Rascals are widely recognized as one of the defining American bands of the 1960s and the pioneers of “blue-eyed soul.” Their timeless music became the soundtrack of a generation, blending rock, soul, and unforgettable melodies that continue to resonate with audiences today.

André is the fascinating British spy who conspired with the disgruntled American general Benedict Arnold to surrender West Point to the British during the American Revolution. Steve Chizmadia is a singer/songwriter, actor and playwright. His songs have been recognized by numerous songwriting competitions: Noel Paul Stookey's "Music2Life" (2011 winner), Kerrville NewFolk (3-time finalist), Wildflower Music and Art Festival (2013 winner), Woody Guthrie Folk Festival. He's released two song collections to date: "It Is What It Is" (2007) and "Jack of All Trades" (2013) and is working on a new collection to be released later this year. Steve lives, works and plays with his wife, children and dog in the Hudson Valley.
Judy Kass is an award-winning songwriter based in the Hudson Valley. She draws in her audience with soulful vocals, no-nonsense lyrical storytelling and genre-bending exploration of guitar and piano. Judy’s 2014 debut album, “Better Things” and her 2016 CD, “Beyond the Ash and Steel” were on the Folk DJ List of Top Albums for those years. The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past twelve years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.
