The Sugar Loaf Arts Collective proudly presents an electrifying evening of dance with the internationally acclaimed Forces of Nature Dance Theatre and its youth ensemble, FIYAA (Forces Incredible Youth Artist Alliance), on June 13th at 7:00 PM at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center.
Founded and directed by visionary artist Abdel R. Salaam, Forces of Nature Dance Theatre is celebrated worldwide for its powerful fusion of traditional African dance, contemporary movement, live percussion, and theatrical storytelling. The company’s work honors ancestral traditions while engaging present-day themes of community, resilience, and cultural identity. FIYAA, the official youth ensemble of Forces of Nature Dance Theatre, is led by choreographer Jae Ponders and represents the next generation of artists within the company’s legacy.
