Sunday 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm | Linda Marks Singer-Songwriter, Americana | Hootenanny Cafe Mini Concerts Online and on the radio, NY See Map |
Often compared to Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Norah Jones, Marks continues to prove why those comparisons endure. Her songwriting feels lived-in and generous, shaped by decades of experience not only as an artist, but as a community builder and heart-centered psychotherapist. That emotional fluency runs throughout her 16th studio album Queen of the Angels—it knows when to speak and when to simply sit beside you. Beyond the studio, Marks is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy, a multi-award winning singer songwriter, co-founder of artist alliance group Women In Music Gathering, leader of the International Singer-Songwriter Association Boston/Northeast Chapter, and served as Vice President of the Boston Association for Cabaret Artists or 15 years. Her life’s work—on stage and off—has been devoted to amplifying voices and fostering meaningful artistic spaces. | ||
