The Poughkeepsie Jazz Project was created in 2012 with the goal of maintaining live jazz culture and community in Poughkeepsie, NY. Since its inception, The PKJP has presented a weekly jazz jam session accessible to all musicians and fans of live music. Over the past nine years, the jam has been honored to host hundreds of musicians from the Tri-state area. This event is free to both participants and listeners. All with a passion for jazz are welcome.

Inspired by the rhythms of Latin music, Pablito y su Latin Band rocks Salsa, Son, Rumba, Cubano, Cumbia, Bomba, Plena, as well as Merengue, and will have you up and dancing all night long.
The Jazzwomen take the stage at Madison Community Arts Center with a free concert funded by the Music Performance Trust Fund in celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month. Jenny Hill/tenor sax, Roberta Piket/keys, Mary Ann McSweeney/upright bass, Kim Peralta/drums.
Raphael Silverman is rapidly emerging as one of the most compelling young guitarists on today's jazz scene. A native New Yorker and a recent graduate of Columbia University, Raphael already performs and tours with some of the most respected names in jazz. He is a member of the bands of two iconic former Art Blakey Jazz Messengers - Philip Harper and Johnny O’Neal -and has shared the stage with Eric Alexander, Rodney Green, Akiko Tsuruga, Peter Washington, Winard Harper, and many others.
Coyote Island is the musical vision of Maine-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike O’Hehir. Assembling a band of brothers, they have blended folk roots, reggae rhythms, and psychedelic indie, the band crafts music that feels like a sonic escape.
